Overtime or Call-out Which Does Not Abut the Succeeding Shift i) When overtime is worked there shall be an elapsed time of eight (8) hours between the end of overtime and the time the employee reports for duty on the next regular shift with no shortfall out of his/her regular shift. ii) In a call-out situation where at least three (3) hours which do not abut the succeeding shift are worked in the ten (10) hours preceding the start of the regular shift, there shall be an elapsed time of eight (8) hours between the end of call-out and the time the employee reports for duty on his/her next regular shift with no shortfall out of the regular shift. iii) If the elapsed eight (8) hour period following results in only two (2) hours or less of their regular shift available for work, an employee shall not be required to report for work on that shift with no shortfall.

  • Day not a Business Day If any day on or before which any action or notice is required to be taken or given hereunder is not a Business Day, then such action or notice shall be required to be taken or given on or before the requisite time on the next succeeding day that is a Business Day.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance Employees required to work more than two (2) hours overtime consecutive with a shift shall be provided with a meal by the Employer.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.
