Overtime premium on public holidays. All extra work on public holidays (stórhátíðardagar) pursuant to Article 2.3.1 is paid at an hourly rate which is 1.375% of monthly pay for day work. This does not apply to regular work where holidays in the winter months are granted in accordance with a specific agreement for work on the days in question.
