Package Programs. Students applying for a package of programs, the UWAFP plus a Bachelor degree course, will be required to pay a deposit of AU$500 to The University of Western Australia in order to apply for a visa for the full program duration. The deposit will be credited to the student’s first semester university fees on enrolment. The refund policy for students who do not take up their place at the University after being offered a package of programs is as follows: > The deposit will be non-refundable if a student is ineligible for any course at UWA. > If the student wishes to change provider, or withdraw altogether from the package of study before or after completion of the UWAFP course, they must apply to do so through the University’s International Centre. The deposit is non-refundable where a student is eligible for study at UWA but chooses to study elsewhere (including where they are eligible for a course other than their first preference). > In other cases where a student does not accept the offer, and where the reason for this is due to compelling circumstances outside the control of the student, a student may apply for consideration of a refund. All applications for refund must be made in writing to the Director, International Centre. The application will be assessed and the student will be advised of the decision and of any refund of fees that is approved.   • Develop programs 1) The Employer will develop and implement health promotion and health education programs, subject to the availability of resources. Each Appointing Authority will develop a health promotion and health education program consistent with the Minnesota Management & Budget policy. Upon request of any exclusive representative in an agency, the Appointing Authority shall jointly meet and confer with the exclusive representative(s) and may include other interested exclusive representatives. Agenda items shall include but are not limited to smoking cessation, weight loss, stress management, health education/self-care, and education on related benefits provided through the health plan administrators serving state employees.

  • Wage Progression (a) Employees within their position classification will progress from the "start rate" to the "one year rate" and so on, on the basis of eighteen hundred (1800) hours paid by the Employer at the "start rate" to the "one year rate" and so on. Hours for which the employee receives WSIB as a result of a work related injury while in the employ of the Employer shall be considered hours paid for the purposes of computing eligibility to progress to the next higher rate within their position classification.

  • Educational Programs 412. Subject to the approval of the appointing officer, Personal Property Auditors and other represented employees shall be on paid status when attending educational programs required to maintain a job-related state license.

  • Exchange Programs ‌ The parties agree that exchange programs between employers will be encouraged. Where practical, employees will be given the opportunity to participate in exchange programs at full pay and allowances. No such exchange will take place without a written agreement with the union(s) and the employers involved.

  • Program 3.01 The Recipient declares its commitment to the Program and its implementation. To this end:

  • Educational Incentive Program 15.2.1 A regular monthly classified unit member covered by this Agreement shall be granted a one-step increase (up to a step maximum of step G for Office/Technical unit members) on the first (1st) of the month following verification of satisfactory completion (grade of “C” or above) of twelve (12) semester units of credit from an accredited institution. Courses must have been enrolled in and credits must have been earned subsequent to the unit member's employment with the District. Official transcripts verifying a grade of “C” or above will be considered proof of satisfactory completion, in addition to the Educational Incentive Program Request for Salary Advancement Form, shall be provided by the eligible unit member and forwarded to the Office of Human Resources. Units of credit obtained prior to promotion must be applied toward step movement within sixty (60) calendar days of effective promotion date. The unit member shall ensure that the Compensation department is aware of these additional credits within this sixty (60) day period.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.
