New Programs. Any employees of newly created or affiliated programs, divisions or projects shall be accreted to the unit and such program, division or project, shall be considered an Employee for all purposes, subject to the following: The parties shall meet to determine whether these entities and their employees shall be subject to the terms of this Agreement in light of applicable labor law. If there is no agreement between the parties and the matter is submitted to arbitration, the arbitrator shall be bound by applicable labor law.
New Programs. Any certificated employee on a renewable contract and reassigned and/or transferred to teach in a temporarily funded program shall be reassigned to a position for which qualified if the temporary program is discontinued.

New Programs. New programs shall receive a minimum of four (4) units during their first year of operation.
New Programs. When new projects or proposals are developed, they should conform to provisions of the existing Agreement. Where required for purposes of obtaining project approval by State or Federal agencies to draft a proposal which has provisions inconsistent with the existing Agreement, the proposal shall be submitted to the Association for review prior to final submission for funding. Any member of the Unit employed to work under the terms of such a proposal shall execute a Memorandum of Understanding, which shall be provided by the Board and clearly set forth exceptions to the Agreement under which they will be working, prior to his or her official appointment to the position in question. The Association shall be provided with copies of all such Memoranda, when executed.
