Paid Carer’s Leave. To be entitled to paid xxxxx’s leave an Employee must provide the Employer with notice and documentary evidence from a duly qualified registered health practitioner as soon as reasonably possible, or other document suitable to the Employer, such as a statutory declaration which in the case of xxxxx’s leave would usually be prior to an Employee taking the time off work. The document must state that for the duration of the carer’s leave the Employee is required to provide care or support to a member of their immediate family (as defined in Clause 1.7) or household.
