Paid Personal Leave Credits. Full time employees may receive pay for up to eighteen (18) regularly scheduled shifts/year and can accumulate up to twenty-seven (27) shifts. This leave may be used for urgent personal needs, including sick leave (as defined under the Emergency Leave provisions of the Employment Standards Act). New hires or employees transferring from Part-time to Full-time will have prorated allowance deposited to their bank. Additional Personal Leave for Full Time employees, and all Personal Leave for Part-Time Employees, shall be Leave without pay.
