Paid Union Leave. Upon written notification to the employer at least five (5) days in advance, an Employee elected or appointed to represent the Union (except as provided for under Article 7.2) or who are attending Union education sessions shall be granted leave of absence with pay and benefits. Such leave shall be limited to fifteen (15) working days per year for the bargaining unit as a whole.
