Common use of Paid Union Leave Clause in Contracts

Paid Union Leave. Employees will be granted Union Leave with full pay, upon five (5) working days notice being provided, to attend Union Meetings of CUPE 1281 scheduled during regular working hours to a maximum of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year, per Employee. Time spent at such meetings will not be used in the calculation of overtime as defined in Article 23.06.

Paid Union Leave. Employees will be granted Union Leave with full pay, upon five (5) working days notice being provided, to attend Union Meetings of CUPE 1281 1281, scheduled during regular working hours to a maximum of sixteen thirty-two (1632) hours per calendar year, per Employee. Time spent at such meetings will not be used in the calculation of overtime as defined in Article 23.0623.10.

Paid Union Leave. Employees will be granted Union Leave with full pay, upon five (5) working business days notice being providednotice, provided to the Staff Relations Officer, to attend Union Meetings of CUPE 1281 1281, scheduled during regular working business hours to a maximum of sixteen thity-six (1636) hours per calendar year, per Employee. Up to a maximum of two (2) employees are permitted to access this benefit to attend the meeting at the same time. Time spent at such meetings will not be used in the calculation of overtime as defined in Article 23.0624.04.

Paid Union Leave. Employees will be granted Union Leave with full pay, upon five (5) working days notice being provided, to attend Union Meetings of CUPE 1281 1281, scheduled during regular working hours to a maximum of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year, per Employee. Time spent at such meetings will not be used in the calculation of overtime as defined in Article 23.0624.04.

Two Employees will be granted Union Leave with full pay, upon five (5) working days notice being provided, to attend Union Meetings of CUPE 1281 1281, scheduled during regular working hours to a maximum of sixteen (16) hours per calendar year, per Employee. Time spent at such meetings will not be used in the calculation of overtime as defined in Article 23.0628.
