- Paramedic Assignment. Employees who are state-licensed Paramedics and classified as Police Deputy (Paramedic assignment) shall receive an allowance of $600 the last pay in July and the last pay in January, pro-rated on a monthly basis for each full month in the Paramedic assignment with Paramedic state licenser. The July payment will cover the months of January through June and the January payment will cover the months of July through December. Any overpayment will be deducted from the first possible subsequent paycheck.

- Paramedic Assignment. 1. Those Bargaining Unit employees who possess and maintain a State of Florida Paramedic Certification and a Departmental designation as a Paramedic, shall be entitled to the Paramedic Incentive. 2. Criteria have been established determining qualifications and retention to maintain Departmental designation as a Paramedic. There shall be no requirement to continue the incentive when an employee is no longer designated as Paramedic by the Medical Director of the Fire Rescue Department. For FY 2023 the Paramedic Incentive will be $8,800 per year. For FY 2024 the Paramedic Incentive will be $9,800 per year. The Paramedic Incentive for FY 2025 will be established through the collective bargaining process.

- Paramedic Assignment. The represented classifications of Firefighter, Driver/Engineer and Fire Captain who are assigned to perform as Fire Paramedics assigned on a 24 hour shift basis will be entitled to the whole dollar amount difference between the "Step 5" Firefighter salary Range C1-30 and Range C1-34. Employees in the classes of Firefighter, Driver/Engineer and Fire Captain must meet the minimum standard required for the Fire Paramedics and be accredited for practice within Santa Xxxxx County prior to becoming eligible for consideration for Paramedic assignment. It is the intent of this program to allocate assignment opportunities in each of the classes of Firefighter, Driver/Engineer and Fire Captain as determined through the budget process each year and those assignments be filled based on seniority bid within each classification. Bid assignments will be for a minimum of one (1) year. Xxxxxxxx represented classes may be assigned to work as a Fire Paramedic through the normal assignment practice and will be eligible for the same premium payment as if assigned through the bid system.

  • SUBCONTRACTS - ASSIGNMENT Contractor shall not subcontract or assign this Agreement, or any part thereof, or interest therein, directly or indirectly, voluntarily or involuntarily, to any person without obtaining the prior written consent by County. Contractor remains legally responsible for the performance of all contract terms including work performed by third parties under subcontracts.   • Inventions Assignment During the Employment Period, the Executive shall promptly disclose, grant and assign to the Company for its and its Affiliates’ sole use and benefit any and all inventions, improvements, technical information and suggestions reasonably relating to the business of the Company and its Affiliates (collectively, the “Inventions”) that the Executive may develop or acquire during the Employment Period (whether or not during usual working hours), together with all patent applications, letters patent, copyrights and reissues thereof that may at any time be granted for or with respect to the Inventions. In connection with the previous sentence, the Executive shall, at the expense of the Company, including a reasonable payment based on the Executive’s last per diem earnings with the Company for the time involved if (a) the Executive is not then in the Company’s employ, or (b) if the Executive is not then receiving severance payments pursuant to Section 8(b) above, or (c) if the Executive has not otherwise received one or more severance payments with respect to such period (whether on a lump sum, pre-paid, or accelerated basis or otherwise), (i) promptly execute and deliver such applications, assignments, descriptions and other instruments as may be necessary or proper in the opinion of the Company to vest title to the Inventions and any patent applications, patents, copyrights, reissues or other proprietary rights related thereto in the Company and to enable it to obtain and maintain the entire right and title thereto throughout the world, and (ii) render such reasonable assistance to the Company as may be required in the prosecution of applications for said patents, copyrights, reissues or other proprietary rights, in the prosecution or defense of interferences or infringements that may be declared involving any said applications, patents, copyrights or other proprietary rights and in any litigation in which the Company may be involved relating to the Inventions. The covenant contained in this Section 11 shall survive the termination or expiration of the Employment Period and any termination of this Agreement.

  • Subcontracting; Assignment The Contractor may not subcontract any portion of the services provided under this Contract without obtaining the prior written approval of the Procurement Officer, nor may the Contractor assign this Contract or any of its rights or obligations hereunder, without the prior written approval of the Procurement Officer provided, however, that a contractor may assign monies receivable under a contract after due notice to the State. Any subcontracts shall include such language as may be required in various clauses contained within this Contract, exhibits, and attachments. The Contract shall not be assigned until all approvals, documents, and affidavits are completed and properly registered. The State shall not be responsible for fulfillment of the Contractor’s obligations to its subcontractors.

  • Room Assignment The Landlord will assign rooms in accordance with the current assignment practice set by Residence Services. The Landlord reserves the right to transfer or move Tenants when deemed necessary. Tenants failing to arrive within 48 hours of the specified move-in date, without informing Residence Services of the delay, will lose their room assignment.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Valid Assignment No Receivable has been originated in, or is subject to the laws of, any jurisdiction under which the sale, transfer, assignment and conveyance of such Receivable under this Receivables Purchase Agreement or the Sale and Servicing Agreement or the pledge of such Receivable under the Indenture is unlawful, void or voidable or under which such Receivable would be rendered void or voidable as a result of any such sale, transfer, assignment, conveyance or pledge.
