Parental Leave and Continuity of Service. All Employees The service of an Employee with an Employer shall be deemed continuous notwithstanding the service has been interrupted by reason of the Employee taking unpaid leave in accordance with the Act, but the period during which the service is so interrupted shall not be taken into account in calculating the period of service for the purpose of long service leave. Periods of paid parental leave taken in accordance with Clause 19 - Parental Leave, shall count as service for the purpose of long service leave.
