Parental Leave Entitlement. a). A staff member who is a parent (or the adopting parent’s partner) of a newly adopted child is entitled to sixty-two (62) consecutive weeks parental leave of absence without pay from the University that may be taken anytime within one year after the child is placed with the parent.
