Pay Administration on Promotion. 19.1.1 Promotion occurs when the incumbent of a position in the regular service is assigned to another position with a higher maximum salary than that of his or her former position.

Pay Administration on Promotion. Promotion occurs when the incumbent of a classified position is assigned to another position with a higher maximum salary than that of his or her former position. An employee who is promoted shall receive a promotional increase of at least three percent (3%); however, in no case shall the resulting salarybe less than the minimum or greater than the maximum of the classification of the position to which he or sheis assigned. Where an employee has been hired into a vacancy on an underfill basis, the ministry will establish a developmental training plan. Pay increases shall only be provided once the employee has met the requirements of the training plan. Pay Administration on Lateral Transfer When an employee is assigned to a position in a classification with the same salary maximum as his or her current position, the employee shall retain his or her current salary and anniversary date.

  • Administration of Agreement All approvals referenced in this Agreement must be obtained from the parties' contract administrators or their designees. The Provider’s contract administrator will be provided at the time of execution. The parties will provide each other with written notification of any change in its designated representative for this Agreement.
