Pay for Attending Grievance Meetings. (a) The Bargaining Committee and the Company shall have the right to call witnesses from the Plant organization to testify as to the facts concerning any grievance during the hearing of a grievance. If an employee is called away from his work due to being called as a witness by the Company or due to a meeting called by the Company, the time of such witness spent in the meeting which falls within his regular scheduled hours will be paid for by the Company at his regular straight-time rate.

Pay for Attending Grievance Meetings. The Company and the Union shall make every reasonable effort to schedule meetings to discuss and resolve grievances during regular working hours. An employee(s) shall be paid the regular straight time rate of pay for attending such meetings.

  • Grievance Meetings Where operational requirements permit, and on reasonable notice, the Employer shall grant special leave with pay to an Employee for the purpose of attending grievance meetings with the Employer.

  • Board Meetings The Superintendent shall attend, and shall be permitted to attend, all meetings of the Board, both public and closed, with the exception of those closed meetings devoted to the consideration of any action or lack of action on the Superintendent's Contract, or the Superintendent's evaluation, or for purposes of resolving conflicts between individual Board members, or when the Board is acting in its capacity as a tribunal. In the event of illness or Board-approved absence, the Superintendent's designee shall attend such meetings.

  • Attendance at Meetings Employees designated as shop stewards or official representatives of the Union shall be allowed to attend meetings held by County agencies during regular working hours on County time as follows:
