Payment for Educational Hours. 13.7.1 Nurses who take educational training and classes required by the Employer will receive shift differentials based upon the time of day the required training or class (s)he attends takes place. Nurses who take training and classes not required by the Employer shall be paid the Nurse’s base hourly rate, without overtime premium or differentials, if the Nurse elects to receive pay. Educational hours will continue to be granted on an eight (8) hour basis for Nurses working ten (10) or twelve (12) hour shift patterns.
