Qualifications for Employment. The relationship of a prospective employee to an individual already employed in the District shall have no bearing upon consideration for employment. The Board will not require either through resolution, policy or in contracts, any residence requirement as a condition of employment, reemployment, advancement, promotion or transfer.
Qualifications for Employment. 15.3.1 At the option of the Employer a newly hired Relief Nurse may be required to attend and satisfactorily complete the Registered Nurse orientation program to qualify to be placed on the Relief Nurse availability list. Orientation requested over that required by the Employer to enable a Relief Nurse to function in a specific area must have the approval of Unit Supervision and Nursing Administration.
15.3.2 Newly hired Relief Nurses with less than twelve (12) months experience will be hired at the Relief Nurse I level.
15.3.3 Newly hired Relief Nurses with the equivalent of twelve (12) full months or more of experience will be hired at the Relief Nurse II level. The Employer will determine appropriate step placement based on its assessment of the Relief Nurse’s experience provided that:
a. Experience must be within the past two (2) years.
b. Experience must be applicable to the unit or area(s) in which the Relief Nurse is hired as determined by the Patient Care Manager.
Qualifications for Employment. 14.3.1 At the option of the Employer a newly hired Relief Nurse may be required to attend and satisfactorily complete orientation programs to qualify to be placed on the Relief Nurse availability list.
14.3.2 The Employer will determine appropriate step placement for new hires based upon its assessment of the Relief Nurse’s experience and education.
Qualifications for Employment. The Contractor shall employ competent laborers and mechanics for the work under this Contract. For work performed under this Contract, employment preference shall be given to qualified local residents.
Qualifications for Employment. 4.6.1 No person under the age of sixteen (16) years for normal occupations, no person under the age of eighteen (18) years in hazardous occupations and no person currently serving a sentence in a penal or correctional institution shall be employed to perform any WORK under this CONTRACT. Each person working must provide proof of United States citizenship or legal work identification.
Qualifications for Employment. All new employees shall serve a ninety (90) day probationary period during which time the Authority may disqualify and remove the employee from the payroll without recourse from employee or Union, except those new employee(s) hired under the provisions of Section 207(c).

D. Employees hired after January 1, 1996 - Shall meet the certification requirements as defined by the National School Food Service Association.
E. Employees shall have or obtain any certifications required by State and/or local health departments. Employer will pay for certifications, exams required for certification (upon successful passing of exam), and periodic renewal fees for certification. Other training and certification may be required and will be reimbursed with prior approval of the Supervisor of Food Services.
X. Xxxxx participate in on-going training and attend two (2) programs and/or classes per year, as approved by the Supervisor of Food Services.
A. After five (5) years of consecutive service and upon resignation or retirement, the employee will receive pay for one-half (1/2) of the earned unused sick days in their sick bank not to exceed one hundred and twenty (120) days. Upon death, regardless of length of service, the employee’s estate will receive pay for the above mentioned sick days, provided he or she is an employee of the school district at the time of death.
B. Upon retirement, the employee shall be paid one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per year of service, with a maximum of $4000.00. Qualifications for Employment. An employee employed for work under the terms of this Agreement must be qualified and able to perform the duties of the job for which he is employed. Nothing in this Article shall be construed to affect or limit any existing right of Employers, subject to the Grievance Procedure, to discharge employees for just cause.

(b) The Seniority Department may administer a pro- ficiency examination to determine the applicant’s ability to follow written instructions, to complete forms, and other- wise to perform the tasks required of checkers and clerks. This examination may be given at the times and places and in the manner to be determined from time to time by the Seniority Department.
(c) If the applicant has passed all the required exams, the Seniority Department will notify the applicant by mail of that acceptance and will direct the applicant to the Waterfront Commission to obtain a Waterfront
