The Payment Upon Resignation clause outlines the employer’s obligations regarding final payments to an employee who resigns from their position. Payment Upon Resignation. If a permanent Employee retires or resigns from the service of the City or is otherwise discontinued therefrom, except for cause, he/she shall be entitled to receive a lump sum payment of all accumulated annual leave.
