Payments or Performance Due on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Except as specifically provided herein, if the last day for making any payment of principal of, redemption price or interest on any Bonds or taking any action, including, without limitation, exercising any remedy, under this Indenture shall be a Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday or a day on which banking institutions are authorized by law to close, then such payment may be made, or such action may be taken, on the next succeeding business day, and, if so made or taken, shall have the same force and effect as if made or taken on the date fixed for payment, redemption or performance as if made on the date otherwise required by this Indenture. The amount of any payment due under this Indenture shall not be affected because payment is made on a date other than the date specified in this Indenture pursuant to this section.

  • Sundays and Holidays Shift workers on continuous shifts for work on a rostered shift the major portion of which is performed on a Sunday of holidays shall be paid as follows:

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Saturdays (i) An employee called out to work on a Saturday will be paid for a minimum of four hours work calculated at one and a half times the ordinary prescribed rate for each call out.

  • Sundays Employees shall receive a shift differential of eight percent (8%) per hour to a maximum of three dollars ($3.00) per hour, in addition to their regular rate of pay for all hours worked on Sundays.
