Sundays and Holidays. Shift workers on continuous shifts for work on a rostered shift the major portion of which is performed on a Sunday of holidays shall be paid as follows:
20.10.1 Sundays - at the rate of double time.
20.10.2 Holidays as prescribed by clause 19 Holidays and Sunday Work - at the rate of double time. Shift workers, other than continuous work, for all time worked on a Sunday or holidays shall be paid at the rates prescribed by clause 19- Holidays and Sunday Work, of this Agreement. Where shifts commence between 11.00pm and midnight on a Sunday or holidays, the time so worked before midnight shall not entitle the Employee to the Sunday or holiday rate. Provided that the time worked by an Employee on a shift commencing before midnight on the day preceding a Sunday or holiday and extending into a Sunday or holiday shall be regarded as time worked on such Sunday or holiday. Where shifts fall partly on a holiday, that shift, the major portion of which falls on a holiday, shall be regarded as the holiday shift.
Sundays and Holidays a) Work performed on Sundays and Holidays will be paid at double (2x) the regular rate of pay. Holidays recognized by this Agreement are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. (No work shall be performed on Labor Day except to save life or property). On a jobsite where another craft employed by the same contractor has the day after Thanksgiving, the Laborers will be granted the same Holiday.
Sundays and Holidays. 9.42.01 All workers shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1.5) for all work performed between 8:00 a.m. Sunday and 8:00 a.m. Monday, also for all work performed on those days designated elsewhere in this agreement as recognized Statutory Holidays.
9.42.02 However, double time will be paid to all employees who work beyond eight (8) hours on Sunday and/or Statutory Holidays. The Statutory Holidays will be those referred to in 31.01.
9.42.03 For those employees who would be scheduled to work on Statutory Holiday, holiday pay will be based on each employee’s normal schedule (8 or 12 hour shifts). Those employees not scheduled to work will receive pay as defined in Section 31 - STATUTORY HOLIDAYS.
Sundays and Holidays. Except as otherwise provided, no bargaining unit member will be required to work on Sundays or Holidays. For all bargaining unit members who are scheduled to work 40 hours per week, any work performed on Sundays or holidays and all work performed over and above the forty (40) hour work week shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times his/her normal rate of pay. For all bargaining unit members who are scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week, any work performed on holidays shall be compensated at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times their normal rate of pay. Payment at time and one-half for Sundays would not occur unless their total hours of work for that week exceed 40. The Board and Administration may grant compensatory time off, at the bargaining unit member’s option, in place of overtime pay, at the rate of time and one-half (1-1/2).
Sundays and Holidays. All work performed on Sunday and Holidays shall be paid at two (2) times the straight time rate of pay. Holidays will be observed as listed in Article 33 Section 1

Where any of the herein mentioned Holidays fall on Saturday, the preceding Friday will be observed as the Holiday.
Sundays and Holidays. (1) The following shall be recognized as paid holidays and all reg- ular employees shall be paid eight hours’ straight time pay therefore: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xx., Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving Day, December 24th, and Christmas Day, irrespective of the dates on which the above-named holidays fall.
(2) In addition there shall be two (2) personal holidays which may be the Employee’s Birthday or any other day mutually agreed to. It will be incumbent upon the employee to request such holidays from his Employer at least seven (7) days prior to said holiday. However, Road Drivers may elect to accept eight (8) hours’ pay in lieu of such person- al holiday. An employee after electing the holiday, or eight (8) hours pay in lieu of the holiday, shall have no recourse. All conditions in Article 49 relating to holidays shall apply, except that all regular em- ployees hired after April 1, 1988, must work a minimum of ninety (90) days in order to qualify for the two (2) personal holidays.
(b) Regular employees shall be paid for each recognized holiday, or the day celebrated as such, irrespective of what day of the week the holiday falls, on the basis of eight (8) hours at their straight time rate, provided they work any day during the payroll period. Any regular employee laid off for lack of work shall not be deprived of his holiday pay if the layoff does not exceed thirty (30) days’ dura- tion. Regular employees required to work on any such days shall be paid the applicable premium rate in addition to the holiday pay. Regular road drivers performing work on the holidays listed in Arti- cle 49, (a) (1) shall be paid a total of four (4) straight time hours in addition to holiday pay provided they work into or out of the holiday.
(c) Probationary employees who work three (3) days during the payroll period in which a holiday occurs shall be paid for such hol- iday on the same basis as regular employees.
(d) The applicable minimum rate for work performed on Sundays or holidays, as such, shall be one and one-half (1-1/2) times the normal rate as shown in the Wage Rate Schedule herein for the first eight (8) hours work, which shall be a guarantee. Work performed after eight (8) hours on those days shall be paid for at one and one- half (1-1/2) times the applicable premium rate.
(e) Employees on night work whose regular work begins on a Sun- day or holiday evening, or ends ...

Where shifts commence between 11.00 p.m. and midnight on a Sunday or a holiday, the time worked before midnight shall not entitle the employee to the Sunday or holiday rate; provided that the time worked by an employee on a shift commencing before midnight on the day preceding a Sunday or holiday and extending into a Sunday or holiday shall be regarded as time worked on such Sunday or holiday.
15.9.3 Where shifts fall partly on a holiday, that shift the major portion of which falls on a holiday, shall be regarded as the holiday shift.
