Peer Assistance and Review Phase (see section 3. 08) 3.07.1 The primary purpose of this phase is to provide assistance and remediation to those practitioners who participated in the Advisory Phase and have been referred by the Advisory Team. a. A meeting to create an improvement plan shall occur prior to the practitioner’s participation in PAR. This meeting shall involve the practitioner being referred, the Advisor assigned to the practitioner, and the Consulting Teacher or the Coordinator of the PAR Program. The practitioner may request SJTA representation at the meeting. b. During the period of assistance, the referred teacher’s performance relative to the PAR Program guidelines shall be the joint responsibility of the CTS Panel and Consulting Teacher, in collaboration with the administrator. c. Communication and consultation with the principal shall be ongoing. The Consulting Teacher shall share all written evaluation reports during a conference with the Referred Participating Teacher at least every six (6) weeks. Copies of the written reports will be provided to the principal and the CTS Panel. d. If at any time during the period of assistance, the CTS Panel determines that the Referred Participating Teacher is unwilling or unable to meet the standards of performance, the CTS Panel may recommend to the Superintendent/designee an issuance of a notice of unsatisfactory performance per Education Code Section 44938. e. At the conclusion of the year of remediation, the CTS Panel shall determine that: i. The Referred Teacher is now proficient according to California Standards for the Teaching Profession, or ii. The intervention may be extended to a second year if the CTS Panel believes progress is being made and the teacher has a reasonable opportunity to meet the standards with an additional year of support, or iii. Further assistance and remediation will not be successful with reasons in support of this conclusion. The School Board may at such time initiate dismissal proceeding. f. The deliberation of the CTS Panel shall be closed and confidential. All decisions shall be based upon the information provided by the Consulting Teacher, the principal, the Referred Teacher and/or the SJTA representative. g. The results of the Referred Participating Teacher’s participation in the PAR Program shall be made available for placement in his or her personnel file and shall be used in the evaluation of the Referred Participating Teacher.

  • Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Consulting Teachers (CT) will be assigned to all new teachers with no prior teaching experience and tenured teachers rated ineffective on the qualitative measures at the end of the previous school year and recommended by the PAR Panel. Evaluations for Probationary and Ineffective Teachers:

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.

  • Assistance and Cooperation (a) Each of the Companies shall provide (and shall cause its Affiliates to provide) the other Companies and their respective agents, including accounting firms and legal counsel, with such cooperation or information as they may reasonably request in connection with (i) preparing and filing Tax Returns, (ii) determining the liability for and amount of any Taxes due (including estimated Taxes) or the right to and amount of any refund of Taxes, (iii) examinations of Tax Returns, and (iv) any administrative or judicial proceeding in respect of Taxes assessed or proposed to be assessed. Such cooperation shall include making available, upon reasonable notice, all information and documents in their possession relating to the other Companies and their respective Affiliates as provided in Section 9. Each of the Companies shall also make available to the other Companies, as reasonably requested and available, personnel (including employees and agents of the Companies or their respective Affiliates) responsible for preparing, maintaining, and interpreting information and documents relevant to Taxes. (b) Any information or documents provided under this Section 8 or Section 9 shall be kept confidential by the Company or Companies receiving the information or documents, except as may otherwise be necessary in connection with the filing of Tax Returns or in connection with any administrative or judicial proceedings relating to Taxes. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement or any other agreement, in no event shall any of the Companies or any of their respective Affiliates be required to provide the other Companies or any of their respective Affiliates or any other Person access to or copies of any information if such action could reasonably be expected to result in the waiver of any Privilege. In addition, in the event that any of the Companies determine that the provision of any information to the other Companies or their respective Affiliates could be commercially detrimental, violate any law or agreement or waive any Privilege, the Parties shall use reasonable best efforts to permit compliance with their obligations under this Section 8 or Section 9 in a manner that avoids any such harm or consequence.

  • Routing for Operator Services and Directory Assistance Traffic For a Verizon Telecommunications Service dial tone line purchased by CBB for resale pursuant to the Resale Attachment, upon request by CBB, Verizon will establish an arrangement that will permit CBB to route the CBB Customer’s calls for operator and directory assistance services to a provider of operator and directory assistance services selected by CBB. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement in accordance with, but only to the extent required by, Applicable Law. Verizon will provide this routing arrangement pursuant to an appropriate written request submitted by CBB and a mutually agreed-upon schedule. This routing arrangement will be implemented at CBB's expense, with charges determined on an individual case basis. In addition to charges for initially establishing the routing arrangement, CBB will be responsible for ongoing monthly and/or usage charges for the routing arrangement. CBB shall arrange, at its own expense, the trunking and other facilities required to transport traffic to CBB’s selected provider of operator and directory assistance services.

  • Quality Assurance Program An employee shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of earnings from her or his regularly scheduled working hours for the purpose of writing examinations required by the College of Nurses of Ontario arising out of the Quality Assurance Program.

  • Directory Assistance Service Updates 8.3.3.1 BellSouth shall update end user listings changes daily. These changes include: 8.3.3.1.1 New end user connections 3.3.1.2 End user disconnections

  • Turnover Assistance Grantee will provide any assistance and actions reasonably necessary to enable System Agency or its designee to effectively close out the Grant Agreement and transfer the performance and obligations of the Grant Agreement to another Grantee or to System Agency if necessary. Grantee agrees that this obligation survives the termination, regardless of whether for cause or convenience, or the expiration of the Grant Agreement and remains in effect until completed to the satisfaction of System Agency.

  • Directory Assistance Service 8.3.1 Directory Assistance Service provides local end user telephone number listings with the option to complete the call at the caller's direction separate and distinct from local switching.

  • Training Plan 19.6.1 An apprentice shall be a party to an individual Training Plan. 19.6.2 The Training Plan sets out the training that the apprentice will do both on – the – job and off – the – job. The Training Plan also sets out how the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will ensure the apprentice will receive quality training – both on – the – job and off – the – job. 19.6.3 The Training Plan reflects the choices made by the employer and the apprentice in relation to:-

  • Termination Assistance Services Following the termination of this Agreement and/or any Ordering Document, the Parties may agree for Axway to provide transition services pursuant to a duly executed SOW, during which time this Agreement will continue in full force and effect solely to the extent necessary to allow such transition services to be performed. Axway agrees that the costs for any such services shall be comparable to the fees charged to other customers for similar types of services.
