Percent Local Use (PLU. Factoring. To the extent an originating Party combines Exchange Service (EAS/Local), Exchange Access (IntraLATA Toll carried solely by Local Exchange Carriers), and Jointly Provided Switched Access (InterLATA and IntraLATA calls exchanged with a third-party IXC) traffic on a single LIS trunk group, and the originating Party provides quarterly PLU(s) verifiable with individual call record detail, the terminating Party should apportion per minute of use (MOU) charges appropriately. Verification should follow the process described in the Audit Process Section of this Agreement. Call detail may be exchanged in lieu of PLU if it is available.

Percent Local Use (PLU. Each Party shall report to the other a PLU factor. The application of the PLU will determine the amount of local or ISP-Bound minutes to be billed to the other Party. Each Party shall update its PLU on the first of January, April, July and October of the year and shall send it to the other Party to be received no later than thirty (30) days after the first of each such month based on local and ISP-Bound usage for the past three (3) months ending the last day of December, March, June and September, respectively. Requirements associated with PLU calculation and reporting shall be as set forth in BellSouth’s Jurisdictional Factors Reporting Guide.
