Common use of Permanent Schedule Changes Clause in Contracts

Permanent Schedule Changes. Employees’ workweeks and work schedules may be permanently changed with prior notice from the Employer. Overtime-eligible employees will receive seven (7) calendar days’ written notice of a permanent schedule change. The day notification is given is considered the first day of notice. Adjustments in the hours of work of daily work shifts during a workweek do not constitute a permanent schedule change. If the Employer changes the permanent work schedule of an overtime- eligible employee without giving at least seven (7) days’ notice of the change, employees will be paid for all time worked outside the scheduled hours or days at one and one-half (1 1/2) times their base rate for the duration of the notice period.
