Permit Teachers. 3 16.1 Notwithstanding any provision of this Agreement to the contrary, permit 4 teachers in the bargaining unit will receive the rights, benefits, and 5 restrictions consistent with the Education Code sections that apply to such 6 teachers. 1 ARTICLE 17
Permit Teachers. Permit Teachers who possess a bachelor’s degree or above shall be placed on Appendix “A” in column XX. Permit Teachers with master’s degree shall be placed on Appendix “A” in column B. In addition, the permit teacher at Children's Centers with multiple classrooms designated by the District as head teacher shall be paid an additional thirty dollars ($30.00) per month.

Permit Teachers. Permit Teachers engaged by the Division shall be placed on the Basic Scale one class below the class where such teachers would be placed if they had teacher training.
Permit Teachers. Degree-holding but uncertified persons filling a teaching position under a permit shall be paid based on training and experience at the appropriate step of the salary index as specified in Appendix A less fifteen hundred dollars ($1500.00) on the step as indicated by the salary scale. Permit teachers shall not be required to make contributions to the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS).
