Personal Holiday Bank. In addition to the authorized holidays specified in Section 1, the City will provide forty-two (42) additional personal holiday hours each fiscal year to all eligible employees. For accrual purposes, personal holiday hours will be added to the employee's personal holiday bank in the following manner: twenty-one (21) hours will be credited to the employee's personal holiday bank at the beginning of the first pay period of each fiscal year and an additional twenty-one (21) hours will be credited to the employee's personal holiday bank on the beginning of the first pay period after January 1. Personal holiday hours may be taken at any time during the year, provided the hours selected by the employee have the prior approval of the appointing authority. Upon separation from City service, an employee will not be compensated for personal holiday hours not taken. The personal holiday bank cannot exceed fifty-seven (57) hours.

  • Personal Holiday A. Each employee may select one personal holiday each calendar year in accordance with the following:

  • Personal Holidays An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal holiday during each calendar year if the employee has been continuously employed by the State of Washington for more than four (4) months.

  • Sunday Employees at the Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.

  • Paid Holiday Bank Employees qualify in accordance with the collective agreement. The paid holidays are identified in the Collective Agreement. Credit to the paid holiday bank will occur on the date of the holiday. Drawing from the paid holiday bank will occur at an accelerated rate of 1.25 hours paid for every hour taken (i.e. 11.25 hours worked equals 14.05 hours paid; 7.5 hours worked equals 9.375 hours paid).

  • Federal Holidays The Employee shall be entitled to federal holidays per calendar year. This is subject to change by the Employer from time to time. If for any reason the Employee should request a Federal Holiday off, the Employer shall determine if the Employee may do so and if it shall be taken from either the Employee’s Personal Leave or Vacation Time. Federal Holidays are determined by the Employer and may change every calendar year.

  • Public Holiday 6.1 The Worker shall be entitled to public holidays in accordance with the labour laws in Malaysia.
