Common use of Personal Leave Entitlement Clause in Contracts

Personal Leave Entitlement. (a) Every full-time employee (other than a casual) shall become entitled to not less than 76 hours personal/carer's leave for each completed year of employment with the Employer. Such paid leave will accrue fortnightly. (b) No part time employee shall be entitled to paid personal/carer's leave within each year of employment exceeding the proportion of seventy six (76) hours pay that the employee’s average weekly working hours bears to thirty-eight (38) hours per week. (c) A part time employee’s entitlement to paid personal/xxxxx's leave shall relate to the number of hours that employee would otherwise have been rostered to work on the day or days when personal leave is taken.
