Pharmacy Staffing Experience. The goal for the pharmacy staffing experience is to provide the resident experience within the medication distribution process and clinical pharmacy practice within the pharmacy department. Residents will be responsible for the provision of various clinical services and/or distributive services provided in the pharmacy. The residents will learn the process of patient profile review, order verification, medication preparation, checking, and distribution through mentorship by the pharmacists and technicians in the different areas of the centralized pharmacy. The resident will be responsible for answering the phone and responding to drug information questions from health care providers. The resident will be required to staff in the main inpatient pharmacy for 8 hours on both Saturday and Sunday every 2 weeks and for 4 hours on second shift once weekly. Weekend staffing may include daytime and evening coverage to ensure competency on both shifts. The weekday second shift staffing will start after all patient care responsibilities have been completed, no earlier than 1600 and no later than 1800. Scheduling and schedule changes will be the coordinated through the Residency Program Director along with the Pharmacy Director and Resident. The residents will only be able to switch staffing weekends with other staff members if the shift is in the inpatient pharmacy. This must be communicated with the scheduler as well as the RPD. Any shifts in specialty areas require approval by the RPD. The resident will be required to work at least one department holiday. In order to ensure competence in this role, residents will be working under the supervision of another pharmacist during the orientation period. After the orientation period, resident’s staffing competency will be assessed and signed off. If a resident does not display the necessary skills to practice as an independent pharmacist by October 1st, a Performance Improvement Plan will be developed for the resident as per Medical Center policy. The resident, preceptor, RPD, and Pharmacy Director will develop, review, implement and complete the required follow-up for the Performance Improvement Plan.

The Resident will be responsible for answering telephone encounters and responding to drug information questions from health care providers via EHR and TigerText. The Resident will be required to staff at Geisinger retail pharmacy for 4 hours during the week. Additionally, the Resident will be on call for 1 week (Monday to Sunday) for the three Ambulatory Care MTDM regions. The weekday staffing on-call duties include answering questions that arise through Ask-A-Doc for anticoagulation and responding to critical INRs. During the week after hours (after 4:30pm) and on the weekend, the Resident is responsible for responding to critical INR results, checking voicemail, and addressing any additional patient care or provider needs related to MTDM. Scheduling and schedule changes will be the coordinated through the Residency Program Director along with the Pharmacy Director and Resident. The Resident will be required to be on call at least one department holiday. 1. If a resident is found to not maintain satisfactory progress at any time after January 1st, a performance improvement plan will be initiated as above.

The Resident will be required to staff at Geisinger Caresite outpatient pharmacy for 4 hours (1/2 day) during the week. Additionally, the Resident will be on call for 1 week (Monday to Sunday) for the three Ambulatory Care MTDM regions. The resident will sign into this role via Tiger Text messaging app. During the week after hours (after 4:30pm) and on the weekend, the Resident is responsible for responding to critical INR results, checking voicemail, and addressing any additional patient care or provider needs related to MTDM. During the resident’s weekend on call, he/she will also be responsible for completing 8 hours of telepharmacy workload. This will be monitored in conjunction with the Telepharmacy Coordinator. Scheduling and schedule changes will be coordinated through the Residency Program Director along with the Pharmacy Director and Resident. In order to ensure competence at Xxxxxxxxx Caresite Outpatient pharmacy, residents will be working under the supervision of another pharmacist during the orientation period. After the orientation period, resident’s staffing competency will be assessed quarterly. If a Resident does not display the necessary skills to practice as an independent pharmacist by January 1st, a Performance Improvement Plan will be developed for the Resident as per Geisinger policy. The Resident, preceptor, RPD and Pharmacy Director will develop, review, implement and complete the required follow-up for the Performance Improvement Plan.

  • Minimum Staffing The Employer agrees to employ sufficient registered staff and health care aides/ Personal Support Workers to meet the staffing needs that may be set from time to time by statute and/or regulation. In the event that there is insufficient staffing to meet this undertaking, the Employer will post vacancies so that any unmet care undertaking will be satisfied. (a) The Employer will assign at least the same number of total bargaining unit RN hours that are equal to those hours that were scheduled in the last week ending prior to June 30, 2009. For clarity, this includes existing vacancies. (b) In the event the Employer cannot meet their ongoing obligation for scheduled RN hours in part (a) above, it shall so notify the Union and fully disclose the reasons thereof. (c) If the failure to staff is a legitimate recruitment issue, there shall be no violation of this Agreement. The Employer will make reasonable efforts to recruit a replacement and will provide the Union with an outline of recruitment activities. (d) Further, if there is a reduction in beds, occupancy levels or CMI or its equivalent below the levels in effect as of June 30, 2009, a reduction in the complement shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement, as long as the reduction is proportionate. (e) If there is any other reason for the failure to staff in accordance with this article, the Union and Employer will attempt to find a resolution and if unable to do so, the matter may be referred to Arbitration. (f) The Arbitrator/Arbitration Board will have authority to determine whether the reduction in staffing was appropriate and shall have jurisdiction to award an appropriate remedy.

  • TECHNICAL EVALUATION (a) Detailed technical evaluation shall be carried out by Purchase Committee pursuant to conditions in the tender document to determine the substantial responsiveness of each tender. For this clause, the substantially responsive bid is one that conforms to all the eligibility and terms and condition of the tender without any material deviation. The Institute’s determination of bid’s responsiveness is to be based on the contents of the bid itself without recourse to extrinsic evidence. The Institute shall evaluate the technical bids also to determine whether they are complete, whether required sureties have been furnished, whether the documents have been properly signed and whether the bids are in order. (b) The technical evaluation committee may call the responsive bidders for discussion or presentation to facilitate and assess their understanding of the scope of work and its execution. However, the committee shall have sole discretion to call for discussion / presentation. (c) Financial bids of only those bidders who qualify the technical criteria will be opened provided all other requirements are fulfilled. (d) AIIMS Jodhpur shall have right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.
