Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technicians must be currently registered as pharmacy technicians with the California State Board of Pharmacy and have fulfilled all requirements to maintain this registration and be Rite Aid certified.
Pharmacy Technician. 10.5.1 Pharmacy Technicians that achieve a Level 6 qualification and/or PACT shall receive an allowance of $2,000 per annum.
Pharmacy Technician. In recognition of current trends, the present “Pharmacy Assistant” classification will be re-named “Pharmacy Technician”. Certified Pharmacy Technician Classification (CPHT) All employees currently classified as Pharmacy Assistants will be eligible to move into the new classification of Certified Pharmacy Technician (attached) subject to the following requirements, which have been established and mandated by the Ontario College of Pharmacy:
Pharmacy Technician. Each individual who is employed or retained by CVS as a technician to provide the Pharmacy Services on or after the Effective Date.
Pharmacy Technician. Grade 3 - means a person who has successfully completed a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course at Certificate Level IV or has qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent, has relevant pharmacy experience and displays competency in performing complex tasks under supervision of a Pharmacist in specialist areas of practice such as, but not limited to, cytotoxic drug reconstitution, sterile production, clinical trials, information systems management, etc. This position may also be supervised by a Grade 4 Pharmacy Technician. This classification may operate in a supervisory capacity such as in a Deputy Senior/Second-in-Charge position. Jobs at this level have greater responsibilities than those at Grade 1 and 2.
Pharmacy Technician. Drug and Pharmacy Clerks who are licensed pharmacy technicians and who perform pharmacy technician duties shall be paid at the next higher pharmacy technician rate over their current drug clerk rate. The clerk will be provided a form to be signed by the pharmacist in charge verifying the hours that the clerk performed pharmacy technician work that day. The Company will post pharmacy technician openings within the agreed upon district areas for a period of two (2) weeks. The posting will include the store number and whether the job is full-time or part-time. Drug or Pharmacy clerks with a pharmacy technician license who bid on such positions will be promoted based on seniority, availability and ability. Once promoted, Pharmacy Technicians who perform drug clerk or pharmacy clerk duties shall continue to be paid as a Pharmacy Technician.
Pharmacy Technician. Steps 1 to 4 should be achieved through automatic increment • Step 5 is achieved through the technical merit process • Placement on Step 5 to 8 is reserved for designated positions. There shall be no automatic progression for designated positions. Progression to a higher step should be through the technical merit process

10.5.2 The minimum salary step for Senior Technicians is Step 5 and can move to step 6 based on performance after 2 years. Pharmacy Technicians with a PACT or Level 6 qualification will move automatically to Step 5. Step 6 is available as a merit step. This clause is sun-setted with the introduction of the pay equity settlement 2023.
