Police and Fire Services. (a) Public Safety Commanders may volunteer to work police and fire service shifts. The Director of Public Safety, at his/her sole discretion and only if he/she deems it necessary, may approve the use of Public Safety Commanders to work police and fire service shifts under the following terms and conditions: 1. Commanders are paid closest to their usual hourly rate during the time they work shifts in the police and fire services. 2. All time worked, and payment for time worked, shall be pre-approved by the Director of Public Safety or his/her designee. 3. The work by Commanders in the fire services shall not interfere or conflict with the regular work of the Commanders as determined by the Director of Public Safety. 4. The Director of Public Safety may assign Commanders to work patrol, as operationally necessary. 5. The receipt of pay for time so worked by Commanders does not defeat or otherwise affect their exempt status under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Commanders and Lieutenants are paid at the point in the pay range of a Lieutenant which is closest to their usual hourly rate during the time they work shifts in the police and fire services. 2. All time worked, and payment for time worked, shall be pre-approved by the Director of Public Safety or his/her designee. 3. The work by Commanders and Lieutenants in the fire services shall not interfere or conflict with the regular work of the Lieutenant as determined by the Director of Public Safety. 4.   • Software Services If elected by Customer, the following Software Services will be made available for Customer’s use. 2.1. Core HR Software Service is a system of interactive web pages to assist Customer in its human resource related recordkeeping and reporting. Customer shall ensure the accuracy of its Customer Data. The HR Software Services shall function in accordance with the Documentation, as may be amended from time to time, and provide features to aid Customer with its compliance with federal and state laws and regulations applicable to Human Resources (except as stated otherwise in the Documentation). 2.2. Recruiting Software Service is a system of interactive web pages to assist Customer in posting job requisitions, storing candidates, recording job applications, and the related recordkeeping and reporting. Customer shall ensure the accuracy of its Customer Data. The Recruiting Software Service shall function in accordance with the Documentation which may be amended from time to time.

  • Telemedicine Services This plan covers clinically appropriate telemedicine services when the service is provided via remote access through an on-line service or other interactive audio and video telecommunications system in accordance with R.I. General Law § 27-81-1. Clinically appropriate telemedicine services may be obtained from a network provider, and from our designated telemedicine service provider. When you seek telemedicine services from our designated telemedicine service provider, the amount you pay is listed in the Summary of Medical Benefits. When you receive a covered healthcare service from a network provider via remote access, the amount you pay depends on the covered healthcare service you receive, as indicated in the Summary of Medical Benefits.   • Core Services The Company agrees to provide to the Municipality the Core Services set forth in Schedule “A”. The Company and the Municipality may amend Schedule “A” from time to time upon mutual agreement.

  • Online Services Microsoft warrants that each Online Service will perform in accordance with the applicable SLA during Customer’s use. Customer’s remedies for breach of this warranty are described in the SLA.

  • Hospice Services Services are available for a Member whose Attending Physician has determined the Member's illness will result in a remaining life span of six months or less.

  • Support Services Rehabilitation, counselling and EAP’s. Support is strictly non- punitive, and can be accessed at anytime (self-identification of the need for help is strongly encouraged).

  • Cloud Services Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement or in the Order, Company grants Customer a limited, non-transferable, non-sublicenseable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to access and use the Number of Units of Cloud Services during the Term solely for internal business purposes in accordance with the applicable license restrictions stated in the Business Unit Terms, Order, and Documentation.   • Customer Services Customer Relationship Management (CRM): All aspects of the CRM process, including planning, scheduling, and control activities involved with service delivery. The service components facilitate agencies’ requirements for managing and coordinating customer interactions across multiple communication channels and business lines. Customer Preferences: Customizing customer preferences relative to interface requirements and information delivery mechanisms (e.g., personalization, subscriptions, alerts and notifications).

  • Special Services Should the Trust have occasion to request the Adviser to perform services not herein contemplated or to request the Adviser to arrange for the services of others, the Adviser will act for the Trust on behalf of the Fund upon request to the best of its ability, with compensation for the Adviser's services to be agreed upon with respect to each such occasion as it arises.

  • Verizon OSS Services Access to Verizon Operations Support Systems functions. The term “Verizon OSS Services” includes, but is not limited to: (a) Verizon’s provision of ECI Usage Information to ECI pursuant to Section 8.3 of this Attachment; and, (b) “Verizon OSS Information”, as defined in Section 8.1.4 of this Attachment.
