Portland Cement Concrete. Concrete shall be a minimum of 6" or as per details and a 28 day compressive strength of 4500 psi. per CDOT and Town of Superior specifications.
Portland Cement Concrete. Full-time inspection of all concrete pours including curb, gutter, sidewalks, driveway apron, alleys, valley gutters, structures, headwalls, slope paving and roadway pavement to evaluate compliance with the improvement plans of record, specifications, details, the SSPWC and this chapter.
Portland Cement Concrete i. Observe the condition of the subgrade and reinforcing steel prior to placement of concrete.
ii. Determine that the concrete is delivered, conveyed, and consolidated into curbs, gutters, and formwork in accordance with the project specifications.
iii. Perform field tests on concrete delivered to the project site including concrete temperature, slump and air content.
iv. Cast cylinders from concrete placed for compressive strength testing.
v. Cure initially in the field, transport to and cure in our laboratory concrete cylinders until broken.
Portland Cement Concrete. Delaware Department of Standard Specifications Sections 705 and 1022, Class B.
Portland Cement Concrete. Work adjacent to a Portland Cement Concrete traveled way which involves the following types of base and shoulders shall be accomplished according to the time restrictions outlined for each type of base or shoulder. Portland Cement Concrete. Portland cement concrete pavement (PCCP) should meet Class P specifications and requirements in the current CDOT “Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction”. Rigid PCCP is more sensitive to distress due to movement resulting from settlement or heave of the underlying base layer and/or subgrade than flexible asphalt pavements.
Portland Cement Concrete. The Contractor shall provide the molds and equipment and shall make, cure, and break concrete cylinders and beams to determine the compressive strength of concrete placed in the work. The Contractor shall also be responsible to test and maintain proper unit weight, slump, and air content of concrete delivered for use in the work.
Portland Cement Concrete. The materials will be applied using the same procedure as stated above using a compatible primer sealer before material is installed to ensure proper adhesion. Compatible primer sealer will be available through the Contractor.
Portland Cement Concrete. A. Cast-in-place concrete shall be air-entrained concrete with minimum 28-day compressive strength of 4,000 pounds per square inch (30 MPa), conforming to the requirements and applicable provisions of MassDOT Specifications Section M4.
