Pre-Conference and Post-Conference. Face to face pre-conferences will be held with individual teachers within three work days of the first formal observation. These pre-conferences will allow the evaluator and the teacher to discuss what the evaluator will observe during the classroom visitation. Important information will be shared about the characteristics of the learners and the learning environment which may be evidenced by a portfolio created by the teacher supporting rubric criteria. Specific information is also shared about the objectives of the lesson and the assessment of student learning. The conference will provide the teacher an opportunity to identify areas in which he/she would like focused feedback from the evaluator. After each formal observation, a face to face post-conference will be held with the teacher within five school days. While the OTES observation is used to evaluate a teacher’s instruction, it is also used to provide a basis for support that teachers receive for professional growth. The purpose of the post-conference is to provide teachers opportunities to self-reflect on their lessons with the guidance and support of their evaluator.

  • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE Section 1. Upon written request by either Party, a pre-job conference will be held prior to the time the Employees of such Employer begin work on the project.

  • Evaluation Conference The final evaluation conference shall occur not later than the end of the fall term. The purpose of the final evaluation conference is to discuss with the probationary employee the results of the evaluation and announce the team’s recommendation. The evaluation team shall determine what additional evaluation activity shall occur during the spring term. If the team recommends that the District not employ the professor for the following year, no evaluation activities in the spring are necessary.

  • Pre-Job Conferences a) The Employer will notify the Union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference will be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in this Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties.

  • Parent-Teacher Conferences A. Unit member shall be available at mutually arranged times during the regular school day to confer with parents regarding learning difficulties, student progress and/or behavioral problems a student may be experiencing. Unit members are encouraged to arrange a meeting or conference with parents before or after the regular school day if both time and place are mutually agreeable.

  • Church Conference Vote At least two-thirds (2/3) of the professing members present at a church conference of the Local Church must vote to disaffiliate from The United Methodist Church “for reasons of conscience regarding a change in the requirements and provisions of the Book of Discipline related to the practice of homosexuality or the ordination or marriage of self-avowed practicing homosexuals as resolved and adopted by the 2019 General Conference, or the actions or inactions of its annual conference related to these issues which follow.” Local Church shall provide documentation, to the satisfaction of Annual Conference, which evidences the result of the disaffiliation vote taken at the church conference. Such documentation must be certified by an authorized officer of Local Church and shall be included as an Exhibit A to this Disaffiliation Agreement.

  • Annual Conference Vote This Disaffiliation Agreement must be “ratified by a simple majority of the members . . . present and voting” at a duly-called session of The Western North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, as required by Judicial Council Decision 1379 and ¶ 2529.1b(3)

  • JOINT CONFERENCE BOARD (a) A Joint Conference Board shall be formed which will be composed of the Board of Directors of the Boilermaker Contractors' Association of British Columbia, and Members of Local Lodge 359 as appointed by the Business Manager. The Joint Conference Board shall meet at least once during each calendar year or more periodically upon request.
