PREGNANCY AND ADOPTION LEAVE. In accordance with the Employment Standards Act, a pregnant Employee is entitled to a leave of absence without pay for a period of up to seventeen (17) weeks unless her due date falls fewer than 13 weeks after she commenced employment. The Employee shall give the Museum written notice at least two (2) weeks, barring unusual medical circumstances, in advance of commencing such leave accompanied by a certificate from a legally qualified medical practitioner indicating that the Employee is pregnant and specifying the expected delivery date.
