Pregnancy and Parental/Adoption Leave. (a) i) An employee will be granted pregnancy leave, upon request and certification of a medical practitioner. The leave shall be granted for any period of up to seventeen (17) weeks immediately preceding the expected date of delivery stated on the certification.
