Prevention Strategies. In addition to the above responsibilities, the Designated Liaisons from the School, the Police Department and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office will meet regularly for the following purposes: (1) to discuss incidents of violence or bullying (as defined under X.X. x. 71, § 37O) in school or outside of school that affects students of the school; (2) to discuss any use, abuse or distribution of alcohol and/or other controlled substances or any other criminal activity affecting students; (3) to identify strategies to reduce such activities and to promote a safe and nurturing school environment; (4) to discuss community resources available for students at risk of harm from violence, abuse or neglect; (5) to develop violence prevention and intervention programs, identification, protocol and curricula as required by X.X. x. 12 § 32; and (6) to outline the necessary action plan for implementation of such strategies.

Prevention Strategies. The District will follow local, state, and federal health and safety guidelines to ensure employees’ safety. The District will provide the layered preventive measures outlined in this MOU. The following measures are guided by current OSPI guidelines, which include Washington State Department of Health (“DOH”) and Washington State Department of Labor & Industries requirements (“L&I”), along with Public Health – Seattle & King County (“PHSKC”) recommendations. The District and SEA agree these guidelines may change and need to be revisited periodically. Regardless of the level of community transmission, all schools will use and layer prevention strategies with fidelity. The following prevention strategies are essential to safe delivery of in-person instruction and help to mitigate COVID transmission in schools: Universal and correct use of masks Physical distancing to the extent possible Improving when needed, monitoring, and sustaining ventilation and air quality Handwashing and respiratory etiquette Cleaning and disinfecting Staying home when sick Contact tracing in combination with isolation and quarantine and in collaboration with Public Health – Seattle & King County Responding to symptoms/cases of COVID
Prevention Strategies. The district will implement a range of prevention strategies including individual, classroom, school, and district-level approaches. Whenever possible, the district will implement evidence-based prevention programs that are designed to increase social competency, improve school climate, and eliminate harassment, intimidation and bullying in schools.
Prevention Strategies. MDNR will conduct or assist with the following: 1. Targeted deer management efforts (e.g., baiting ban; Xxxxxxx et al. 2006, Xxxxxx et al. 2016) in DMUs 452 and 487 on a local scale to prevent transmission of bTB between deer and cattle. 2. Provide APHIS WS with approval to conduct targeted removal of deer on cattle farms within identified bTB concentration areas in DMUs 452 and 487. 3. Maintain a simple process for cattle producers and adjacent landowners to obtain no-cost disease control permits valid for harvesting deer year-round in DMUs 452 and 487. 4. Work with collaborators to continue conducting research concerning the epidemiology of bTB and potential intervention strategies, including targeted removal, vaccination (Cosgrove et al. 2012, Xxxxxx et al. 2016, XxxXxxxxxxx et al. 2018), and non-lethal methods (e.g., livestock protection dogs; Xxxxxxx et al. 2010). Incorporate relevant research findings into existing surveillance and disease reduction activities as resources allow.

  • Strategies The ESC will seek to achieve employment stability strategies as follows: - current and multi-year strategies should be developed within the resources available. Such strategies could include, but not necessarily be limited to, planning, retraining, identifying ways of determining employees= skills, training and experience previously achieved, early retirement, voluntary exit programs, alternative assignment, secondment, employee career counselling, job sharing, job trading, job shadowing, and professional development; - discussions between the parties which explore these possible strategies would assist in the development of appropriate enhancements to Employment Stability; - data which is relevant to employment stability shall be made available to both parties.
