Private School Experience Credit. 1. Beginning with the 2005-2006 school year, and subject to the provisions in paragraphs 2, 3, and 4, credit is allowed for teaching experience at private schools or institutions that have Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Northwestern Association of Schools and Colleges, North Central Association of Schools and Colleges, New England Association of Schools and Colleges, or Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation. Credit shall also be allowed for certified teaching experience at schools or institutions with accreditation from agencies equivalent to that provided by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools such as the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, the Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Association of Independent Schools of Florida, the Florida Catholic Conference, and the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.

Private School Experience Credit. 1. Beginning with the 2019-2020 school year, and subject to the provisions in paragraphs 2, 3, and 4, credit is allowed for teaching experience at private schools or institutions that are recognized by accrediting agencies that the Secretary of the United States Department of Education has determined to be reliable authorities as to the quality of education or training provided by the institutions of higher education programs they accredit. The primary regional accrediting commissions include the Southern Association of Colleges Commission on Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC), Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU), Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE), and the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Credit shall also be allowed for certified teaching experience at schools or institutions with accreditation from agencies equivalent to that provided by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and Schools such as the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, the Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Association of Independent Schools of Florida, the Florida Catholic Conference, and the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.

  • Experience Credit a. For the purpose of this article, a teacher teaching on call (TTOC) shall be credited with one (1) day of experience for each full-time equivalent day worked.

  • Using Student feedback in Educator Evaluation ESE will provide model contract language, direction and guidance on using student feedback in Educator Evaluation by June 30, 2013. Upon receiving this model contract language, direction and guidance, the parties agree to bargain with respect to this matter.

  • CHILD AND DEPENDENT ADULT/ELDER ABUSE REPORTING CONTRACTOR shall establish a procedure acceptable to ADMINISTRATOR to ensure that all employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Agreement report child abuse or neglect to one of the agencies specified in Penal Code Section 11165.9 and dependent adult or elder abuse as defined in Section 15610.07 of the WIC to one of the agencies specified in WIC Section 15630. CONTRACTOR shall require such employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Agreement to sign a statement acknowledging the child abuse reporting requirements set forth in Sections 11166 and 11166.05 of the Penal Code and the dependent adult and elder abuse reporting requirements, as set forth in Section 15630 of the WIC, and shall comply with the provisions of these code sections, as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.

  • Experience Credits Full credit for public school teaching outside of the District shall be granted up to the limits of the salary schedule.

  • Investment Experience Holder understands that the purchase of this Warrant and its underlying securities involves substantial risk. Holder has experience as an investor in securities of companies in the development stage and acknowledges that Holder can bear the economic risk of such Holder’s investment in this Warrant and its underlying securities and has such knowledge and experience in financial or business matters that Holder is capable of evaluating the merits and risks of its investment in this Warrant and its underlying securities and/or has a preexisting personal or business relationship with the Company and certain of its officers, directors or controlling persons of a nature and duration that enables Holder to be aware of the character, business acumen and financial circumstances of such persons.

Elements of the Career Ladder are outlined and posted on 13 the District website and include detailed descriptions of Career Ladder levels and the 14 requirements for movement. All instructional staff hired on or after January 8, 2018 will 15 be placed on the Apprentice level of the Career Ladder.

  • School Nurses The salary of a nurse with a graduate nursing degree will be 90% of the XX Xxxx of Schedule A. The salary of a nurse with a BS Nursing Degree will be the same as the XX Xxxx of Schedule A.

  • Special Education Services 1. The parties agree to uphold the tenets contained within the "Special Education Services: A Manual of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines” document (February 2011) published by the BC Ministry of Education.

  • Professional Development; Adverse Consequences of School Exclusion; Student Behavior The Board President or Superintendent, or their designees, will make reasonable efforts to provide ongoing professional development to Board members about the adverse consequences of school exclusion and justice-system involvement, effective classroom management strategies, culturally responsive discipline, appropriate and available supportive services for the promotion of student attendance and engagement, and developmentally appropriate disciplinary methods that promote positive and healthy school climates, i.e., Senate Bill 100 training topics. Board Self-Evaluation The Board will conduct periodic self-evaluations with the goal of continuous improvement.
