Probationary and Tenure Teachers Sample Clauses

Probationary and Tenure Teachers. A tenure teacher will be entitled to twelve (12) sick days per year upon signing his/her contract for the following school year. Such days will not be available for his/her use prior to the beginning of the new school year. A teacher failing to complete the school year for reasons other than personal illness will have one (1) sick day deducted for each twenty (20) student instruction days or portion thereof not completed. In the event the teacher has used all sick days which would have been available had he completed the school year, he will have such days which exceed these limitations deducted from his final pay on the same pro- rated basis.
