Common use of Probationary Period; Change of Classification Clause in Contracts

Probationary Period; Change of Classification. In addition to the initial probationary period, an employee transferred or promoted to a different position shall serve a new probationary period of sixty (60) calendar days in any such new position. During this sixty (60) day probationary period, if it is determined by the District that the employee’s performance in the new position is unsatisfactory, the District shall reassign the employee to his/her former position.
