Common use of Probationary Period - New Employees Clause in Contracts

Probationary Period - New Employees. A new employee shall serve a ninety (90) calendar day probationary period during which time he/she shall have no seniority. An employee changing positions (bid) will serve a thirty (30) day trial / probation period. Upon mutual agreement of both parties, the thirty (30) day probation may be waived to expedite the filling of the vacated position. (See section 19.2).
