Probationary Period (Promotion/Transfer. An employee who is promoted or transferred into a new position shall be placed on probation for a period of twenty-six weeks. At any time during this period, the Village may rescind the promotion or transfer, provided the employee has been offered the opportunity for appropriate training, and the employee will be reinstated to the employee’s previous position. Such action shall not be subject to the Grievance Procedure or Disciplinary Procedure.
