Professional Activities and Organizations. The Superintendent is encouraged to be a member of service organizations and various professional organizations. The Board shall pay the membership costs for the regional and Illinois Association of School Administrators, the American Association of School Administrators and such other organizations as approved from time to time by the Board. Costs related to attending state and national meetings and conventions of these organizations will be paid by the Board. If expenditures for such professional and service club memberships and conference attendance shall exceed the amount approved in the annual budget, they shall require the prior approval of the Board. The Superintendent will notify the Board of attendance at such state and national meetings, conventions, etc.

Professional Activities and Organizations. The Superintendent shall attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state and national levels, provided that such attendance does not interfere with the proper performance of his duties under this Contract. The expenses of attendance, when attendance has been preauthorized by the Board, shall be paid by the District. The Superintendent shall be paid (in addition to wages, fringe benefits and other compensation as may be allowed herein) for expenses for one service club; dues and travel related expenses associated with performance of duties in local, state and national professional organizations and; such other organizations as may be assigned by the Board.
Professional Activities and Organizations. The Superintendent shall attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state and national (allowed attendance every other year) levels, provided that such attendance does not interfere with the proper performance of his duties under this Contract and be paid by the District. In lieu of attending the national conference, the Superintendent may elect to participate in another Superintendent Professional Development Program (i.e., tuition for doctoral program up to nine credit hours per year). The Superintendent shall be paid (in addition to wages, fringe benefits and other compensation as may be allowed herein) for expenses for one service club for Coleridge and one for Laurel-Concord- Coleridge; dues and travel related expenses associated with performance of duties in local, state and national professional organizations and; such other organizations as may be assigned by the Board.
Professional Activities and Organizations. The District encourages the Superintendent to attend, actively participate in, and/or join appropriate professional meetings and organizations, including civic and service organizations, at the local, state and national levels. The Superintendent shall give the Board prior notice of the professional meetings and organizations that the Superintendent desires to attend, actively participate in, and/or join. Unless the Board objects, the District shall pay reasonable expenses for such attendance, participation and/or joinder from funds budgeted for that purpose, including any membership dues and fees of the Superintendent. The Superintendent may hold offices or accept responsibilities in these professional and civic organizations, provided that such offices and/or responsibilities do not interfere with the performance of his duties as Superintendent. The Superintendent also may undertake writing, consulting, teaching and speaking engagements, subject to the Board's approval, and provided that these activities do not interfere with the performance of his duties as Superintendent. In addition to the Superintendent's attendance, participation and/or joinder in appropriate professional meetings and organizations, the Board shall pay the Superintendent membership dues in the various area Xxxxxxxx of Commerce.

  • Professional Activities The Superintendent/Principal shall be encouraged to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local, state, and national levels. Within budget constraints, such costs of attendance shall be paid by the Board. The Superintendent/Principal’s attendance at professional meetings at the national level must have prior approval of the Board.

  • Professional Organizations During the Term, Executive shall be reimbursed by the Company for the annual dues payable for membership in professional societies associated with subject matter related to the Company's interests. New memberships for which reimbursement will be sought shall be approved by the Company in advance.

  • Outside Professional Activities The President/Superintendent may undertake outside professional activities, including consulting, speaking, and writing provided these activities do not interfere with the President/Superintendent’s duties.

  • Scaling Locations, Rules, and Organizations All logs from timber sold under the terms and conditions of this contract shall be: (1) scaled at a location approved in writing by STATE; (2) scaled by a third-party scaling organization with a current agreement with STATE; and (3) scaled using the Official Log Scaling and Grading Rules (as adopted by the Northwest Log Rules Advisory Group) and STATE special service scaling instructions in effect at the time the logs are scaled. Utilization scale shall be handled in accordance with the section titled, “Utilization Scale.” PURCHASER shall enter into a written agreement with a third-party scaling organization for the scaling of logs removed from the timber sale area. PURCHASER shall furnish STATE with a copy of the scaling agreement upon request. If logs are delivered when a TPSO scaler is not present, PURCHASER must provide STATE with a method to assure protection and accountability. PURCHASER shall provide STATE with remote check scaling opportunities for logs scaled under this contract. The last two loads at each delivery point shall be continuously available for checking. They shall remain available for a minimum of 48 hours unless replaced by other STATE loads. They shall be available as originally presented for scaling; i.e., if truck scaled, they shall be presented in bunks. In the event scaling is suspended for any reason, hauling operations shall be immediately suspended until approved alternate scaling services are provided, or service by the scaling organization is resumed.

  • Technical and Organizational Measures The following sections define SAP’s current technical and organizational measures. SAP may change these at any time without notice so long as it maintains a comparable or better level of security. Neither the Partnership nor any of the Limited Partners shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement in any such business ventures, interest or activities. None of the Limited Partners nor any other Person shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement or the partnership relationship established hereby in any such business ventures, interests or activities, and the General Partner shall have no obligation pursuant to this Agreement to offer any interest in any such business ventures, interests and activities to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, even if such opportunity is of a character which, if presented to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, could be taken by such Person.

  • Promotional Activities ‌ 19 At the request of North Sound BH-ASO, Provider shall display promotional materials in its 20 offices and facilities as practical, in accordance with applicable law and cooperate with and 21 participate in all reasonable marketing efforts. Provider shall not use any North Sound BH- 22 ASO name in any advertising or promotional materials without the prior written permission of 23 North Sound BH-ASO.
