Membership Dues and Fees. 23.01 Membership in organizations may be purchased on a "one per campus" basis when such membership will provide:
(a) material which will be of instructional value;
(b) an opportunity for members of the instructional staff to associate with representatives from business and industry concerned with the employment of their students;
(c) an opportunity to participate in Professional Business or Trade Conferences related to the occupations for which the training is designed to serve;
(d) facilities whereby the Campus may be more closely associated with the Business and Industrial Community.
23.02 When possible, memberships are to be taken out in the name of the New Brunswick Community College. When this is not possible, the Instructor in whose name the membership is secured is to understand that the "Benefits" are for the Campus or College as a whole.
23.03 Fees and/or dues will not be paid in those instances where the membership is a prerequisite for the position held and/or no material value is afforded to the Campus.
23.04 No Instructors shall be required to pay any membership fees or dues to any Union other than his certified bargaining agent for the purpose of remaining employed by the Employer as an Instructor.
Membership Dues and Fees. 5.1 Digital Membership Dues As a Virgin Active member you are personally responsible for payment to us of the Membership Dues and any other ongoing payments set out in your Membership Application Form as they fall due. Your Membership Dues are due for the whole of each fortnightly billing period even if your membership is terminated during that fortnightly billing period (unless you have terminated under paragraph 8.2(a)). If your first fortnightly period includes a partial fortnightly billing period, your Membership Dues for that period will be calculated on a proportional basis according to the number of days remaining in that fortnightly billing period. You must pay the Membership Dues applicable to your Membership Type at the relevant time. You may only pay your Membership Dues in advance by direct debit or periodic credit card authority under your Payment Authority Form. No other form of payment will be accepted. You will not be allowed to access the Digital Content or a Club if your Membership Dues remain outstanding. We will collect any outstanding amounts and any charges we incur from late payment through your Payment Authority Form. If you have a genuine dispute in relation to the collection of outstanding amounts or the charges you incur, please contact us in accordance with the dispute procedure set out in the Payment Authority Form.
5.2 Changes to Membership Dues We review our Membership Dues periodically and may change them from time to time. This may result in an increase to your Membership Dues after the Initial Commitment Period. We will give you at least 14 days’ notice of any change and the date from which the change will apply by emailing you at the email address you have provided to us, by notifying you via your member portal at xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx or by writing to you. If you do not wish to accept an increase in your Membership Dues you may terminate your membership in accordance with paragraph
8.1. If you do not terminate your membership you will be required to pay any revised Membership Dues from the date from which the change becomes effective and your direct debit payments or credit card payments will be amended accordingly. All Membership Dues include goods and services tax (GST). We reserve the right to change your Membership Dues in line with any government GST rate changes, even if you are in your Initial Commitment Period.
Membership Dues and Fees. The District agrees to permit payroll deduction of membership dues and fees to the HTA subject to the following conditions:
1. The Association is responsible for a letter of transmittal to the District certifying the rate of its initial membership dues. In the event of any change of rate of its membership dues during the life of this contract, a new letter of transmittal shall be sent to the District at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of such coverage.
2. The Association assumes all responsibility for preparation, printing and processing of the payroll deduction authorization form.
3. Authorized deductions shall be in equal payments, a maximum of twenty-two (22) equal payments, commencing in September.
4. Authorized deduction will be remitted to the Association at the conclusion of each pay period.
5. The Association agrees to indemnify and hold the District harmless from any and all claims, suits or other forms of liability arising out of deductions of money for Association dues and fees under this Article.
Membership Dues and Fees. All employees covered by this Agreement shall, as a condition of continued employment, within thirty (30) days after employment in a position represented by the Guild, either (1) pay the Guild the regular initiation fee and regular monthly dues uniformly required of members, or
Membership Dues and Fees. All membership dues and fees will be recovered on automatic debit from your nominated credit / debit account as setup when initially purchasing your membership. Minimum term of the payments will depend on the membership chosen and will continue indefinitely thereafter unless advised , in writing, to cancel. In the event of a failed Direct Debit payment, the member may incur a fee, which will be added to the next successful payment. This cost will vary depending on the charges imposed by the Direct Debit Company controlling the debit from the member’s account or credit card. After the term finish date, the member remains on an active TWE membership and the member will not need to join again, hence the payments will continue to be withdrawn unless advised otherwise. If a membership fee payment remains outstanding, you agree that, unless we are in breach of our obligations under the Agreement, we may continue to debit the nominated credit / debit account for the total amount due without notice to you. If for any reason payment of your Membership Dues and Fees is declined by your credit card/bank account a fee of $15 per due payment may be charged by TWE as a charge we incur for collecting any outstanding Membership Dues and Fees and will be payable by you. If you have a genuine dispute in relation to the collection of outstanding amounts or the charges we incur, please contact us.
Membership Dues and Fees. 18 A. All regular and temporary employees covered by this Agreement shall, as a 19 condition of employment, on or after the thirtieth day but not later than the sixtieth day following 20 their date of employment, either (1) pay to the Union the regular monthly dues uniformly required of 21 members, or (2) pay an amount established by the Union as agency fees not to exceed regular dues 22 and fees uniformly required of members.
23 B. Failure by an employee to satisfy the above paragraph of this section shall 24 constitute cause for dismissal provided the Union makes a written request for discharge, verifying 25 that the employee received written notification of the delinquency and notification that non-payment 26 within thirty (30) days will result in discharge by the Employer.

MIAMI reserves the right to amend membership dues at any time in its sole discretion. MIAMI will provide advance written notice to you if there is any such increase in membership dues. If you object to the increase, you may terminate this Membership Agreement by written notice to MIAMI at any time before the effective date of the increase. MIAMI may assess and collect fines from you for violation of the MIAMI MLS Rules. Payment terms for fines are set out in the MIAMI MLS Rules. MIAMI may amend its schedule of fines and terms for collecting them at its sole discretion at any time. There are no refunds of membership dues or fees. All membership dues and fees paid to MIAMI are exclusive of federal, state, municipal or other governmental excise, sales, value-added, use, personal property and occupational taxes, excises, withholding obligations and other levies now in force or enacted in the future and, accordingly, you shall pay all such taxes and levies other than any tax or levy for which MIAMI is responsible.

All employees covered by this Agreement may voluntarily become members of the What-Comm Guild by paying the Guild the regular initiation fee and regular monthly dues uniformly required of members. At the written request of the President of the What-Comm Guild, individual members may either be exempted from or pay reduced monthly dues. The President of the Guild shall give the City thirty (30) days’ notice of any dues change for a member.

Membership Dues and Fees. The Superintendent shall attend appropriate professional and civic meetings at local, state, and national levels. The expense of annual membership dues or fees in local, state, and national professional and civic organizations shall be paid by the District and shall include, at a minimum, ACSA, AASA, CALSA, Paramount Rotary, and any other organization approved by the Board.
