PROHIBITED PROGRAM ACTIVITIES. The recipient must comply with, and require all subrecipients to comply with, the prohibitions on use of CNCS funds applicable to their program as identified in sections 132A and 174 of the NCSA (42 U.S.C. §§ 12584a and 12634) and section 403 of the DVSA (42 U.S.C. § 5043), and provisions by Congress in annual appropriations acts. More specific guidance on these prohibitions will be provided in CNCS’s Program Specific Terms and Conditions and in other guidance.

While charging time to this Award, the Awardee, and anyone acting under the supervision or authority of the Awardee, may not engage in the following activities:
PROHIBITED PROGRAM ACTIVITIES. While charging time to this Award, the Awardee, and anyone acting under the supervision or authority of the Awardee, may not engage in the following activities: o Attempting to influence legislation. o Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes. o Assisting, promoting or deterring union organizing. o Impairing existing contracts for services or collective bargaining agreements. o Engaging in partisan political activities or other activities designed to influence the outcome of an election to any public office. o Conducting a voter registration drive or using CNCS funds to conduct a voter registration drive. o Participating, in or endorsing, events or activities that is likely to include advocacy for or against political parties, political platforms, political candidates, proposed legislation, or elected Officers. o Engaging in religious instruction; conducting worship services; providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship; constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship; maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship; or engaging in any form of religious proselytization. o Providing a direct benefit to:  A for-profit entity;  A labor union;  A partisan political organization;  An organization engaged in the religious activities described in the preceding sub- clause, unless Agreement funds are not used to support the religious activities; or  A nonprofit entity that fails to comply with the restrictions contained in section(c)(3) of U.S.C. Title 26. o Providing abortion services or referrals for receipt of such services. o Grant funds may not be used for international travel or projects where the primary beneficiaries of an activity are outside the United States. o Grant funds may not be used for lobbying prohibited by 2 CFR § 200.450. o Such other activities as CNCS may prohibit. Individuals may exercise their rights as private citizens and may participate in the above activities on their own initiative, on non-CNCS time, and using non-CNCS funds.
PROHIBITED PROGRAM ACTIVITIES. The recipient must comply with, and require all subrecipients to comply with, the prohibitions on use of CNCS funds applicable to their program as identified in section 174 of the NCSA (42 U.S.C.§12634) and § 403 (Political Activities) of the DVSA (42 U.S.C. §5043). This includes providing religious instruction, conducting worship services or engaging in any form of proselytization; assisting, promoting, or deterring union organizing; financing, directly or indirectly, any activity designed to influence the outcome of an election to Federal office or the outcome of an election to State or local office. This also includes financing, directly or indirectly, any activity designed to influence the outcome of an election to Federal office or the outcome of an election to State or local office, or any voter registration activity, or to pay the salary of any officer or employee of CNCS who engages in such an activity in an official capacity. In addition, the recipient must comply with, and require all subrecipients to comply with, the prohibitions on use of CNCS funds in § 403 (Political Activities) of the DVSA (42 U.S.C. §5043).

  • Program Activities Grantee must use the Grant Funds as set forth in Exhibit A (the “Program”).

  • Development Activities The Development activities referred to in item “b” of paragraph 3.1 include: studies and projects of implementation of the Production facilities; drilling and completion of the Producing and injection xxxxx; and installation of equipment and vessels for extraction, collection, Treatment, storage, and transfer of Oil and Gas.   • EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 1. In this agreement, extra-curricular programs and activities include all those that are beyond the provincially prescribed and locally determined curricula of the school.

  • Outside Activities Subject to the Articles of Incorporation and any agreements entered into by the General Partner or its Affiliates with the Partnership or a Subsidiary, any officer, director, employee, agent, trustee, Affiliate or stockholder of the General Partner shall be entitled to and may have business interests and engage in business activities in addition to those relating to the Partnership, including business interests and activities substantially similar or identical to those of the Partnership. Neither the Partnership nor any of the Limited Partners shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement in any such business ventures, interest or activities. None of the Limited Partners nor any other Person shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement or the partnership relationship established hereby in any such business ventures, interests or activities, and the General Partner shall have no obligation pursuant to this Agreement to offer any interest in any such business ventures, interests and activities to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, even if such opportunity is of a character which, if presented to the Partnership or any Limited Partner, could be taken by such Person.
