PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERABLES. Agency will design, and State will acquire right-of-way for and construct widened travel lanes and bicycle/pedestrian improvements on NE 238th Drive between Halsey and Glisan Streets. Agency is responsible for project management and ensuring the Project moves forward. Deliverables include: • Widening of the northbound lane and southbound climbing and passing lanes • Constructing shared-use sidewalks on both sides of the roadway • Constructing retaining walls throughout project limits • Acquiring right-of-way for access changes and storm water improvements • Obtaining any necessary design exceptions from FHWA due to the fact NE 238th is a component of the NHS system
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERABLES. WDFW shall conduct a scientifically sound and repeatable resident fish survey within Rocky Reach Reservoir. WDFW shall collect data in order to monitor the relevant trends and abundance of the resident fish community, evaluate the relative abundance of native and non-native predators, and evaluate the potential for resident fish angling opportunities. Contractor shall, on an annual basis,: • Determine spatial distribution of fall spawners and redds (drone imagery and field validations) in the Penticton Channel and Okanagan River; • Analyze the relationship between Penticton Channel spawners/xxxx distribution, flow levels and fry recruitment to Skaha Lake; and • Conduct pre-treatment and post-treatment drone imagery of the Okanagan River Restoration Initiative restoration in Okanagan Falls. Contractor shall provide annual monitoring reports summarizing the data collection and results to the Tributary Committee by December 31st of each year.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND DELIVERABLES. Contractor agrees to perform the following Services: Establish or increase the population of biological control insects in an effort to reduce the spread of noxious weeds on public lands within the Rocky Reach Wildlife Area (RRWA): Contractor shall collect approximately 3,000 United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) approved biological control agents, and release them on public lands at the project sites (also known as release sites) as shown on Figures 1-4, included herein, within the Rocky Reach Wildlife Area. The purpose of the Services is to control Dalmatian Toadflax (Linaria Genistifolia Damatica) or Diffuse Knapweed (Centaurea Diffusa), collectively defined as ”Target Weeds”. Timing of the releases shall take into consideration the phenology of the Target Weeds at the proposed release sites. Releases may occur at different times and intervals to give the biological control agents the opportunity to become established at the proposed release sites. The number and location of release sites may change depending on phenology, cover, and availability of biological control agents. The Contractor shall take a photo and record GPS coordinates, at each release site. The GPS coordinates and photograph(s) of the habitat where the biological controls are released shall be included with the final report and invoice to the District. A draft summary report shall be provided to the District for review by September 9, 2024, showing the location of release sites, date of release, and approximate number of biological control agents released at each site. District shall provide all comments to Contractor by September 16, 2024.
