Common use of Promotion Increases Clause in Contracts

Promotion Increases. A Bargaining Unit Faculty Member who is promoted from Associate Professor to Professor shall receive an increase of 7.5% of that Member’s annual base salary. A Bargaining Unit Faculty Member who is promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor shall receive an increase of 7.5% of that Member’s annual base salary.

Promotion Increases. A Bargaining Unit Faculty Member who is promoted from Associate Professor to Professor shall receive an increase of 7.5% of that Member’s annual base salary. A Bargaining Unit Faculty Member who is promoted from Lecturer, Senior Lecturer or to Clinical Assistant Professor to Associate Professor shall receive an increase of 7.5% of that Member’s annual base salary.

Promotion Increases. A Bargaining Unit Faculty Member who is promoted from Associate Professor to Professor shall receive an increase of $4500 or 7.5% of that Member’s annual base salary, whichever is greater. A Bargaining Unit Faculty Member who is promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor shall receive an increase of $3500 or 7.5% of that Member’s annual base salary, whichever is greater.
