Promotion of Career Pathways Programs. The School Board of Palm Beach County, the College and the University shall design a marketing plan for the promotion of Career Pathways to students, parents/guardians and counselors. The strategies shall include, but not be limited to: • Web site for Career Pathways Information: xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/9044ce/pages/cte_resource_manual.asp xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/prior-learning/career-pathwaystech-prep-articulation/default.aspx • Marketing materials, such as brochures and posters • Training and awareness sessions for District and College personnel • Special efforts to orientate parents towards the value of career academies  A planned program of study that will be taught in the high schools, providing a transition from secondary career programs and academies to College, leading to certificates or associate degrees.  Higher level mathematics, English, science and technology courses at the high schools utilizing applied, integrated teaching techniques.  Expanded opportunities for students to participate in academic and technical dual credit opportunities to accelerate student progress toward completion of certificate and degree requirements leading to a high-demand and high-wage career.  Opportunities for earlier exposure to technical preparation in high skill areas such as business, health, graphic design, and computer technology.  The courses found at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/9044ce/pages/cte_resource_manual.asp can be applied to the applicable programs listed in the Agreement. Expanded opportunities for students to continue their education in technical fields of their choice will be further enabled by the establishment of clearly defined course-by-course or course-to-pathway articulation agreements among the Board, the College and the University. The agreements will make clear, enhanced opportunities for admission to College/ University programs and the award of credit or Advanced Placement of students in those programs because of their successful work in the Career Pathways Program. To be eligible for the award of college credit, the student must complete the appropriate sequence of high school Career Pathways courses with a cumulative grade point average and specified assessment stated in the Agreement to receive credit for identified college courses.   • Commercialization Intrexon shall have the right to develop and Commercialize the Reverted Products itself or with one or more Third Parties, and shall have the right, without obligation to Fibrocell, to take any such actions in connection with such activities as Intrexon (or its designee), at its discretion, deems appropriate.

  • Advertising and Promotional Materials The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that the Vendor shall have the right to use drawings, photographs, videos or other depictions of the interior and/or exterior of the Dwelling and/or the Subdivision or any components or features thereof in any promotional or advertising materials without notice to or consent from the Purchaser being required in any manner whatsoever.

  • Promotional Material In the event that the Fund or the Investment Adviser makes available any promotional materials related to the Securities or the transactions contemplated hereby intended for use only by registered broker-dealers and registered representatives thereof by means of an Internet web site or similar electronic means, the Investment Adviser will install and maintain or will cause to be installed and maintained, pre-qualification and password-protection or similar procedures which are reasonably designed to effectively prohibit access to such promotional materials by persons other than registered broker-dealers and registered representatives thereof.

  • Promotion and Marketing For the purpose of promotion and marketing, the Borrower hereby authorizes and consents to the reproduction, disclosure and use by the Lenders and the Agent of its name, identifying logo and the Facilities. The Borrower acknowledges and agrees that the Lenders shall be entitled to determine, in their sole discretion, whether to use such information; that no compensation will be payable by the Lenders or the Agent in connection therewith; and that the Lenders and the Agent shall have no liability whatsoever to it or any of its employees, officers, directors, affiliates or shareholders in obtaining and using such information as contemplated herein.

  • SEXUAL EXPLOITATION 18.1 The Contractor shall take all appropriate measures to prevent sexual exploitation or abuse of anyone by it or by any of its employees or any other persons who may be engaged by the Contractor to perform any services under the Contract. For these purposes, sexual activity with any person less than eighteen years of age, regardless of any laws relating to consent, shall constitute the sexual exploitation and abuse of such person. In addition, the Contractor shall refrain from, and shall take all appropriate measures to prohibit its employees or other persons engaged by it from, exchanging any money, goods, services, offers of employment or other things of value, for sexual favors or activities, or from engaging in any sexual activities that are exploitive or degrading to any person. The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that the provisions hereof constitute an essential term of the Contract and that any breach of this representation and warranty shall entitle UNDP to terminate the Contract immediately upon notice to the Contractor, without any liability for termination charges or any other liability of any kind. 18.2 UNDP shall not apply the foregoing standard relating to age in any case in which the Contractor’s personnel or any other person who may be engaged by the Contractor to perform any services under the Contract is married to the person less than the age of eighteen years with whom sexual activity has occurred and in which such marriage is recognized as valid under the laws of the country of citizenship of such Contractor’s personnel or such other person who may be engaged by the Contractor to perform any services under the Contract.

  • Commercialization Efforts The RECIPIENT shall, including whether through its own efforts or the efforts of a licensee under a License Agreement allowed by the terms of this Attachment, use diligent and commercially reasonable efforts to commercialize at least one Commercial Product or Commercial Service or otherwise bring to practical application the Project Results in accordance with the commercial development plan submitted with the Application and including any changes to such commercial development plan in accordance with Section D3.01. For the avoidance of doubt, partnering or licensing activities shall be considered to be efforts to commercialize.

  • Manufacturing and Marketing Rights The Company has not granted rights to manufacture, produce, assemble, license, market, or sell its products to any other person and is not bound by any agreement that affects the Company's exclusive right to develop, manufacture, assemble, distribute, market, or sell its products.
