Placement of Students. Prior to February 15, each Career and Technical Education cooperative program teacher shall confer with the principal, or the principal’s designee, relative to a registration procedure for students recommended for placement in the cooperative program. Each Career and Technical Education cooperative program teacher shall furnish to the principal, or the principal’s designee, data and rationale to support the recommendations being submitted for consideration. The recommendations of the CTE cooperative program teacher shall be given the highest priority.
Placement of Students a. The parties acknowledge that the policy of Least Restrictive Environment is legally mandated. It is also recognized that the extent to which any individual disabled student should participate in regular education programs and services involves considerations of that student’s unique needs as determined by an Individual Educational Planning Committee (IEPC). Although it is agreed that the disabled student’s participation and right to participate in regular education programs and services cannot be affected by this Agreement, the District does agree to consider how the disabled student’s placement will affect teachers when determining the disabled student’s placement. b. The District shall ensure that appropriate regular education staff is included in the IEPC and other related instructional planning involving the placement of special education students in regular education classrooms. c. Release time shall be provided to staff who are invited to attend an IEPC. District planning related to IEPC provisions and recommendations shall include input from regular education staff. Appropriate information related to the student’s academic, medical, social and emotional needs shall be shared with regular education staff invited to participate in the IEPC or related planning meetings. d. Following the IEPC meeting, appropriate instructional staff shall be invited to a meeting, the purpose of which will be to share appropriate information and coordinate the implementation of the instructional plan. e. Except on a voluntary basis, no teacher shall be required to provide custodial care or school health services (defined as an act or function constituting the “Practice of Medicine” within the meaning of the Public Health Code MCL 333.17001), except in an emergency situation. Teachers providing instructional service to students with special medical needs shall receive prior training as to what process and/or procedure to follow in the event that an emergency arises related to the student’s medical condition.
Placement of Students. The Institution will place an appropriate number of students at the Facility each academic term. The Institution shall notify the Affiliate at least ______ days prior to the beginning of each academic term of the number of students it desires to place at the Facility for such term.

Placement of Students. Cooperate with the UNIVERSITY in the planning and conduct of the students' placements in order that the placements may be appropriate to the UNIVERSITY'S educational objectives.
Placement of Students. For periods of time agreed to by the University and Hospital, Students will be permitted to take instruction and gain clinical and/or practical experience in the Hospital, provided that appropriate services are offered at the Hospital, subject to the Hospital’s ability to offer such instruction and/or experience and the commitments in Schedule 1. The Hospital will provide services and facilities upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set out. The placement of Students will be based on pedagogic interests, including the need for a wide range of learning experiences, and on requirements of applicable regulatory bodies, and subject to the Hospital’s ability to offer such instruction and/or experience. Using the process set out in Part III, section 2 above, the number of undergraduate, postgraduate and graduate Students from each University professional program taking instruction in the Hospital shall be negotiated and agreed annually by the representatives of the heads of the appropriate University Faculties or Departments with the representatives of the heads of the appropriate Hospital teaching services. The Faculty of Medicine will assign postgraduate Students to teaching hospitals and sites and other clinical institutions in accordance with the Guidelines for the Assignment of Postgraduate Medical Trainees (attached as Schedule 15). Students enrolled in Departments and Faculties including, but not limited to, the Departments of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology and Radiation Oncology, and the Faculties of Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry and Social Work are assigned to the Hospital in accordance with the curriculum plan for each clinical course or program and with the Hospital’s ability to provide an appropriate placement. The University will be responsible for informing Students who are placed at the Hospital that they are required to comply with Hospital policies.‌
