Protection of Public Safety. Each party specifically reserves the right, through its representatives, to eject any person(s) behaving in an objectionable manner from its own facilities or facilities of the other it may be using, and upon the exercise of this authority, each party hereby waives any right and all claims for damages against the other, as a result of the ejection, whether directly or through any of its agents or employees.

Protection of Public Safety. 1) Contractors shall perform all work outlined in these specifications in such a manner as to provide maximum safety to the public, and meet all accepted standards for safe practices during the maintenance operation; to safely maintain equipment, machines, and materials or other hazards consequential or related to the work; furthermore, to accept the sole responsibility for complying with all local, County, State or other legal requirements including, but not limited to, OSHA and CAL-OSHA. 2) Adequate warning devices, barricades, guards, flagmen or other necessary precautions shall be taken by the Contractor to give advised and reasonable protection, safety and warning to persons and vehicular traffic concerned in the area. The “WORK AREA TRAFFIC CONTROL HANDBOOK" is herein adopted as the minimum safety guidelines and the Contractor must abide by this handbook.

  • Protection of PFPC PFPC shall be indemnified by the Fund and without liability for any action PFPC takes or does not take in reliance upon directions or advice or Oral Instructions or Written Instructions PFPC receives from or on behalf of the Fund or from counsel and which PFPC believes, in good faith, to be consistent with those directions or advice and Oral Instructions or Written Instructions. Nothing in this section shall be construed so as to impose an obligation upon PFPC (i) to seek such directions or advice or Oral Instructions or Written Instructions, or (ii) to act in accordance with such directions or advice or Oral Instructions or Written Instructions.

  • Public Safety The Permittee shall comply with the following provisions.

  • Fire Safety Resident will not tamper with fire alarms, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, or exit signs. Resident will promptly evacuate Residence Facility upon the sounding of an alarm or as otherwise directed by College Housing staff. Resident will participate in any periodic fire drill and fire safety training conducted by College for the Residence Facility.

  • Protection of Private Information If this Agreement requires City to disclose “Private Information” to Contractor within the meaning of San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12M, Contractor and subcontractor shall use such information only in accordance with the restrictions stated in Chapter 12M and in this Agreement and only as necessary in performing the Services. Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 12M.

  • HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT In the performance of this Contract, Contractor and Operator shall conduct Petroleum Operations with due regard to health, safety and the protection of the environment (“HSE”) and the conservation of natural resources, and shall in particular:

  • Cooperation on Safety The Employer and Union will cooperate in continuing and perfecting regulations which will afford adequate protection to employees engaged in hazardous areas.

  • Protection of the Environment If the Contractor encounters circumstances such as weather conditions or site factors where the Contractor knows or should reasonably know that proceeding with the Work may, directly or indirectly, cause Environmental Damage, the Contractor shall:

  • Rectification of Safety Hazard Where, because of the existence of a safety hazard, a site has been stopped for a defined period of time and Employees sent off site by agreement between Site Managers and any combination of Union Official/s, Health and Safety Committee, those people who remain on site to do rectification work will be paid at the rate of double time for all such work.
