Common use of Public Employees Retirement System (“PERS”) Members Clause in Contracts

Public Employees Retirement System (“PERS”) Members. For purposes of this Article, a PERS participating member is an employee who has established membership in PERS (Tier 1, Tier 2, or OPSRP) and who is presently employed in a qualifying position. Parole and Probation Officers requiring DPSST certification are by statute classified as “Police & Fire”.
