Public holidays - penalty rates. 27.5.1 Double time and a half shall be the rate for all work done on New Year's Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Easter Saturday, Labour Day, Anzac Day, Queen's Birthday, Adelaide Cup Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day: 27.5.2 Provided that if any other day were by Act of Parliament or Proclamation substituted for any of the above named holidays the special rate shall only be payable for work done on the day so substituted.
