Purpose Eligibility. (1) Sick Leave with pay is available to eligible employees for periods of temporary absences due to illnesses, injuries, or medical appointments of the employee or their immediate family.
(2) The immediate family, for purposes of sick leave, is defined as the employee’s spouse, parent, child, or sibling; the employee’s spouse’s parent, child, or sibling; the employee’s child’s spouse, grandparents, or grandchildren.
(3) Regular full-time and regular part-time employees are eligible for sick leave on a pro rata basis.
Purpose Eligibility. Vacation leave with pay is available to regular full-time employees to provide for opportunities for rest, relaxation and personal pursuits.
