Purposes of Sick Leave. Sick leave is paid leave from work that can be used for the following purposes:
Purposes of Sick Leave. Sick leave can be used for personal illness, pregnancy, doctor or dental appointments or exposure to contagious disease, or serious illness or injury of spouse, civil union partner, significant other, children, grandchildren, step-children, siblings or parents.
Purposes of Sick Leave. Employees are entitled to use the City’s sick leave benefit for the following purposes. Reference to “family members” means an employee’s spouse or “partner” in a “domestic partnership” as such terms are defined in ORS 106. 310, biological adopted or xxxxxx parent or child, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandchild or a person with whom the employees was or is in a relationship of in loco parentis, any other relationship identified in the City’s Employee Handbook as a “family member” for the purpose of using sick leave.
