Temporary Absences. Where a Subsidised Resident is away from your Unit with family/whānau or friends, we will continue to make payments in full for up to 14 days at any one time, and up to 28 days in total (or a greater number of days in total, if you obtain our agreement in advance) in any one of our financial years.
Temporary Absences. If you are away from the home, your room will be retained and our full charges will be payable for the first week of absence. After that our fees will continue to be payable but will be reduced by 20%. Please note, that this clause does not apply if our charges are met by the local authority, although your room will still be retained.
Temporary Absences. When one of the employees in a job split (whether she/he is the incumbent or non-incumbent) is temporarily absent from the position, then if the supervisor and the employee who remains at work agree, the remaining employee will assume all or a portion of the absent employee's hours of work and duties. If the supervisor and the remaining employee do not agree, then the absence from the job split arrangement will be treated like an absence from a part- time position. The department may then, if it wishes, fill all or a portion of the hours of work and duties left by the absent employee through the normal procedures for replacement.
Temporary Absences a. An employee may be released up to 1.5 hours on an occasional/emergency basis for medical appointments or other emergencies. Employees may include lunch or break time to extend the 1.5 hours only if the time gone encompasses regular lunch time or break time.
b. Employees must sign out to fulfill this requirement and records of these temporary absences must be maintained, showing the number of absences involved.
Temporary Absences. If a household must be temporarily away from his or her unit, but is expected to return (e.g., participant violates conditions of their DOC supervision and is placed in confinement for 30 days or re-hospitalized), HARPS may pay for the households rent for up to 60 days. While a household is temporarily absent, he or she may continue to receive HARPS services.
Temporary Absences. With regard to temporary absences, it is agreed as follows:
(1) If the Participant or other Employee shall be absent from active employment with the Company without pay for a period not exceeding one year on account of (i) illness, (ii) mental or physical disability, (iii) leave of absence granted by the Company in accordance with uniform and nondiscriminatory rules so that all employees in similar circumstances are treated alike, or (iv) temporary layoff (an "Unpaid Absence"), his employment with the Company or participation in the Plan, as the case may be, shall not be deemed to have terminated solely on account of such Unpaid Absence and during such Unpaid Absence he shall be provisionally credited with Hours of Service at the same weekly rate (not exceeding 40 hours per week) he was being credited with Hours of Service at the time such Unpaid Absence commenced; provided, however, that the maximum number of Hours of Service required to be credited under this paragraph (1) on account of any single continuous period of Unpaid Absence is 501 less the number of Hours of Service, if any, required to be credited under Article I(A)(23)(b) on account of a single continuous period of paid illness, incapacity (including disability), leave of absence or layoff, which immediately precedes the Unpaid Absence, provided, further, that if he does not resume active employment within thirty (30) days from the expiration of such illness, disability, or leave of absence, or if he fails promptly to report for work upon being recalled from such layoff, his employment or participation, as the case may be, shall be deemed to have terminated on the date when such Unpaid Absence commenced, and he shall not be credited with any Hours of Service on account of such Unpaid Absence, provided, further, that his Valuation Date shall be the Valuation Date coinciding with or preceding the expiration of such thirty (30) day period.
Temporary Absences. (a) Bereavement Leave Administrators will be granted leave of absence with full pay for not more than five (5) days per school year (not necessarily in succession) on account of the death of father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, child, son‐in‐law, daughter‐in‐law or parent‐in‐law, whether such relative was a member of the household or not, and not more than three (3) days per school year (not necessarily in succession) on account of the death of a grandparent, or any other relative or friend for whom the administrator is responsible for making funeral arrangements, except in such cases as are covered in the following sentence. Pay for absence not to exceed five (5) days will also be allowed on account of the death of any other relative who was a permanent member of the Administrator’s household, or of any other person with whom said Administrator made his/her home. Upon the request of an Administrator who has suffered a death in his/her family, the bereavement leave period may be extended by the Superintendent or by whoever is authorized to act in his/her absence.
Temporary Absences. In the event a child less than 10 years of age falls suddenly ill, wages are paid for a maximum of 3 days, the absence cannot exceed four work days. If requested, similar proof of the sickness must be provided as for an em- ployee's sickness. The length of the absence is determined based on what is necessary for arranging treatment for the child or caring for the child and only one of the child’s parents can be absent at a time. The employee shall receive a paid day off for their own wedding, if the wedding happens to occur on a work day of the employee. An employee who has been employed for at least a year, shall receive a paid day off on their 50th or 60th birthday, if it happens to occur on a work day of the employee.
Temporary Absences. Tenant must notify OHA in advance if they will be away from the premises for more than seven consecutive days.
